Hey @befighterman - Is it bad? For gyms looking to keep their clients for the long term, not discount future memberships and grow MRR, to not disrupt their current systems and operations of their normal flow, to keep their reputation in the community they aren't a good fit. For gyms that desperately need cash any way they can get it, want to become more of a sales company, deal with constant churn, always looking for the next lead to come in, they are fine. Im not a fan of challenges, I ran them years ago when I didn't know any better,. They make sense on paper up front, but after you've done a few, you realize really quickly that it attracts the wrong type of people and burns out coaches. Not only that, you'll be in a cycle of always running the next challenge as the only way to bring in a client. I highly discourage the bait and switch style 6 week challenges.
