Wowza sa harvest mo manong! Ang dami mo dahlia at ang gaganda nila. The banana peel works as compost and natural heating. Nadiscover ko to thanks to my artichokes! Wala lang talaga kong swerte sa sayote. Sighs...

This is how we do it. Just these two. The flavour changes with addition of okra and squash.

Greetings, There's nothing compared to a freshly made vegetable but I'll eat it frozen if I'm in a hurry or lazy to cook👍. I eat frozen leftover pinakbet occasionally. Half cook the pinakbet then freeze it. It makes the vegetable more firmer.

Romulo, If your wok doesn't show any sign that it is been used for cooking, then it is only a kitchen decoration or it is brand new. I just picked up some upo at my garden ( Asian grocery store )🙂 the other day. I'll try this quick recipe.

I grew chayote squash in two separate wine barrel pots, in zone 7 (Central PA, USA). Sprouted indoors in April and planted outdoors in May. They grew a lot, taking over the entire trellises I had provided, but neither has produced a single fruit. Any idea why this would happen? We are near the end of the season and i might have to just remove it.
@RomulosKitchenandGarden3 ай бұрын
Avoid the silky shiny variety sold at the Asian store. I had the same experience. They are not fit for our zone. Grow the spiny variety instead.
