Hi Craig, hope you are well. Long time viewer, first question ever. First of all just wanted to say a huge thanks to you for kickstarting my journey into a hobby that has provided me and those i perform to a lot of joy. For much of my time in magic I've strictly performed for friends and acquaintances during school (once hosted a show for 50 people in our common room etc) but since i'm finished with school i've decided to make the move to social media magic so i can continue performing this wonderful passion we all share. I have never done any of this before and was hoping you could provide some advice. Whether that be tricks to do or ways to present magic on short form media. I was also interested if there were any rules in regards to crediting and whether i should credit the creator of a trick in video descriptions. Sorry for the wordiness of the questions as i wasn't sure how to condense it down. Once again wishing you well in all that you do and thank you for doing so much for me Toby

Thanks for the fantastic answer to my question regarding accidently messing up the cube force. I own Cube 52, and I think I would use it to do what you describe since I have the deck with me anyway. BTW... Cube 52 is my favorite piece of cube magic that I do for closeup shows.

Another question, For super easy magic, how much practise is needed before showing family as a first audience, because performing is what motivates me to learn and practise more, rather than lots of practise in my room by myself?

2 questions for you Craig. 1st question, Is the how's and why's of the thumb tip still going to be a thing? 2nd question, what are your favorite routines using a devil's hank and what resources would you recommend to get the most use out of one?

I keep changing my mind on whether I'd rather be a magician or mentalist. As you know, I wrote a stage show which is mostly magic with some mentalism, but sometimes I feel I would be better suited to being a mentalist, but other times a magician. Maybe being a magician that does a lot of mental magic might be a good idea?

I just want to thank you for inspiring me to start working as a professional. But I also want to ask, is there a good balance between “pure skill” routining like Pure Coins Across from the Netrix and gimmicked effects?

Hi Craig, here is the follow up on the gatekeeper handling question. You talked about using the same handling you did with the shuttle pass where the change happens in the spectator's hand. I was looking for the shuttle pass part and couldn't find it; that's the part I was asking about. Thank you so much for the help!

Hey Craig. I’ve been interested in starting to perform paying gigs, but I’m not sure how big the “market” is for my local area. Any advice on how to start out? Secondly, how do you keep yourself energized for your magic? I’ve been feeling uninspired and would love to know if there’s something that you believe would help a magician feel inspired again.

With a retention vanish which hand do you prefer to use for the retention? I'm sure it is best to be able to use both equally well but just wanted your thoughts on if it makes a difference.

As a close up performer, people stare at your hands quite often. Do you have any type of skin/nail routine to make sure your hands look nice, or is it something you don't think is particularly important?

Hi Craig. I'm deeply sorry for your loss 😞 Question this week: what force would you recommend for a routine that requires three spectators each choosing three different cards? For this routine, the cards will be revealed to everyone, magician included, right away (a triple reveal comes a bit later). Thanks!

So sorry about your loss. The love for, and from, a pet is eternal. And something completely different, do you know of any resources for Rubik's Cube sleights, like false shuffles and such? I'm trying to put together a trick that I think would be better with a cube switch rather than a equivoque and it'd be nice to have some inspiration there.

Hi Craig, I love the "every day carry" approach of many magic tricks today and I own several such tricks. However, I am a hobbyist and a lot of my friends don't even know I'm into magic. So they won't ask me to show a trick, and it feels quite pushy to show them magic without being asked. Same with approaching strangers to show them magic. Long story short, I have magic tricks with me but I rarely perform them. How can I change this?

Hi Craig! Hope all is well with you and the team at Magic TV. Two questions for you. Firstly, would you ever be interested in doing a video with Nemed, Matt, Wayne and maybe some other Magicians on how they recover from messed up tricks and hecklers? I know everyone handles it a bit differently because their characters are all different, and would great to get different point of veiws. Second question, can you give us any sneak previews on what you have planned for the next season of the Matt-umentary?

Hey craig, i hope youre doing well. I had 2 questions. I was wondering if you have any jumbo coin routines on the netrix or if you ever consider sharing one. I also was wondering if you had any tips on the touch force since I keep getting caught doing it. Thanks again so much!! I also wanted to tell you that I'm really sorry for your loss craig 😢. I have dogs myself and I can't imagine having to lose them...
