My father passed away on March 11th 2024. I'm his only daughter (18 years old) and miss going fishing with him like I used to do as a child. To keep his legacy alive, I wish to learn the things he knew and didn't get to teach me. Tying a fishing hook is one of them, thank you for this 😊🙏🏽

it doesn't matter how many times I do this, I always do it wrong a bunch of times before finally getting something that resembles a clove hitch. I can't explain why

P.S. Check out the link to this creator’s other decorative knots, I found them to be also beautiful and useful.

This is a great tutorial for this knot. Thank you. I found I need to use needle nose pliers to cinch it up, at the end. It looks pretty when I’m done and I can use it to end my macrame bracelets nicely.

Can we use macrame cord?!

You can just tie a stopper like an overhand or figure 8 on the end of the bowline

It's the braid that QKZ headphones (qkz t1, qkz Q1 max) uses in their 4-8 strands cables, i was wondering if a machine is doing this or just human ;D

This bracelet poses a significant risk of entrapment! If the knot or loop at the end becomes insnared on something (like a passing freight train), you are going to be in a world of hurt!

I gotta be honest, I’ve been doing paracord for years and have never seen this. So simple and clean. I love it.

Thank you, my tree climbing mentor taught me the "taunt line hitch/or Blake's hitch" method. Your video is a supurb way to repel down the tree when you only have a trunk left to lay over and do not have the luxury of a taunt line hitch.
