In the last 41.52 mins I've just listened to the last 50 years of my own constant internal narrative... The utter relief to know that I'm not alone in being wired this way is wonderful! Lockdown was a joy for me & if possible the country coming out of Lockdown was like a time of immense mourning for me... I constantly have to repeat the words 'its not about me' to foece myself to go outside the door if I have to turn up at some event...time spent at any social affair (even with just one person) is always a build up of dread, what to say, how to look, stand, even down to practicing facial expressions because I used to 'grin' as a child/teenager when I felt awkward & was constantly given out to for my inappropriate response to situations...being in the social situation itself there's always that internal dialogue going on while I'm trying to pretend to act natural & confident...fighting the thought of escape, watching for that moment when I can leave but also can't stop the nervous low level inane rubbish spilling out of my mouth trying to fill the void, trying to say the right thing, trying to stop the other person from having that time to judge me in silence... Sometimes I say far too much, let too much truth fall out while other times I'm completely mute... I am polar opposite depending on while way the wind is blowing... Then the aftermath, the self judgement when I remember all the absolute crap that fell out of my mouth, those times I turned the other way to avoid someone, those times I should've turned the other way to avoid but didn't...the feeling like lve managed to loose yet more people who might've thought that I was 'nice' or 'normal'... How good does it feel to not feel alone in feeling all of this! Thank you so much Lorna & to those others brave enough to speak out! 🙌✨👏👏👏🤗🥰

Thank you Lorna, so much of that rings true. Just hearing 'eating in front of people' took me to an awful place and my coping was often four of five pints to transform myself into someone worthy of the company of others at that 'social lunch'. Congratulations on 'Ever Felt' - it's great to see something like this raising a bit of awareness :)

Thank you so much for your message Nick : ) I hope by watching 'Ever Felt' you know you're not alone in those insecurities, and I also hope you have reached a place in your life where you know you ARE worthy of the company of others : ) Thank you so much again for your message of support Nick. I greatly appreciate it : )❤️

I loved the content a lot. I've been trying to search for a vid like yours that informs the topics in this KZbin vid!Your explanation really reminds me of the content from Doctor Ethan! Ethan's videos are insightful and I learned a lot for diet. He is an informative med student. Go see his KZbin out and give the med student a like! 👉 #FutureDrEthan

I went to scoil on tSeachtar Laoch in Ballymun we were taught the Travellers were the kings and queens of Ireland.I have always admired the travellers for the always appeared to be strong and not fright6of anything.I had no idea there was an issue of suicide within community.I am grateful our kings and queens have a support system. We need more services and forums to support or travelling community. Ben's mother ..We grew up back of halting site James road the travelling community saved my disabled brothers life .One Love keep her lit.

Lovely cinematography and good music. But why has the music to be so loud that you cannot hear the words anymore. So often these days in videos that does happen. Music is great and important, but words are much more important specially these days. Sorry but I think this mistake makes the video a missed chance. Erik
