They are the only scary enemy in the game. And thats really sad to say the least. I wouldve loved if the enemies would also get scarier but no, its some enemies being the same just with horns now and just a few new ones like the remade Gibdos, Like Likes or the Funny Ceiling Moblins. Ofcourse there area more and sure, there are bosses but I really missed it when Zelda was eerie like OoT or MM were. I wouldve loved if the Gibdos wouldve had a paralyzing scream like the ReDead had or their older version but no, we got insectoids that are sturdy. The design for sure was cool since its a remade version of it but making it just less scary combat was is just sad. Also not making water enemies was a huuuuuuuuuuge letdown. I wouldve loved if there was a water enemy that could charge at you when trying to cross over bodies of water or even having a water miniboss like the Big Octo from Wind Waker couldve been cool, but its such a lackluster that there is mostly enemies that are just sometimes cool to look at but that have the only trope of "I hit and do damage but there is no other mechanic about me" which couldve made a difference since sometimes you cant prevent something from happening and you have to attack right after other than dodging but pushing through. TL;DR: Enemies not being scary other than the Gloom Hands (Floormasters), no other mechanics other than doing damage.

Hi, I just discovered your channel while looking up videos about Hamsterz Life 2. It’s a very precious game to me and every few years I would boot it back up and play with my hamsters. Unfortunately, due to some misinformation online about how to unlock the Hedgehog Hamster, I deleted my original hamsters when I was in Highschool thinking that my save must have had a glitch or something because it wasn’t working. I had had the game since elementary school, so I am sad that I went that route instead of finding a cheap second copy to test at the time. I’m happy to know other people also love this silly and obscure game!!

We actually aren't getting N's Liepard, not only is there no room for it in the set but N never owns a Liepard. He always releases his Pokémon after every battle so the Purrloin he uses in Accumula Town never evolves under his ownership.

I saved money so I could get my own DS and a copy of Nintendogs. One day, while I was at school, my dad had gone and bought those with the money I'd saved for the occasion. And I knew he'd gone to do it, so I ran back home after school. It was winter and our yard was icy under the snow so I slipped and landed on my back almost directly in front of our door. That's the first memory I associate with Nintendogs and it's something I still think back on at times. I haven't seen my virtual dogs in so many years now and I do actually still miss them. I was crazy about the Shiba Inus and I had multiple of them, at least one of each coat color.

This mechanic annoys me so much that when it was used for a hype moment in the Paldean Winds shorts I rolled my eyes. I'll admit it does feel hype at times (when I am basically guaranteed to lose from lack of preparedness), but most of the time it just feels like a crutch that's preventing me from getting authentic wins. Game's easy enough as is.

Pokemon X was my first pokemon game and I loved the feel of getting to build a bond with my pokemon by playing with them, expecially all the lil details like sludgey and lava mons being unable to be pet, it was cute! As a jaded 20something gamer these days tho I tend to avoid affection in any game I can bc it just takes the challenge out of playing, expecially in BDSP... yikes. I miss getting to pet pokemon...

Honestly I haven't run into the friendship stuff that much in the current titles. Sun and Moon it was all over the place. Despite doing tons of camping sessions across the main storyline my Galar team wasn't that affectionate until endgame. Anything after Galar I just didn't encounter it. This made friendship based evolutions a LOT easier to obtain which made Pokedex completion easier as well.

I am really excited! I am sure budew will be a massive impact and in my view a positive one!

I'm about to yap without actually watching the video, so forgive me... Legends Arceus is what actually made me realize I want to be a wildlife field researcher. No, I'm not kidding. I was having a ton of fun with the Hisui Dex, although I haven't finished it due to the fossils being stupidly difficult to get, and when I went back to my copy of Violet (my beloved), I realized I wasn't having fun, just catching something then moving on. That's when it hit me that I love doing the research tasks, and it's something I can actually do in the future. So thanks, Legends Arceus, for providing me with the knowledge that I love field research.

I never disliked the contests. I think the issue was that to me it always felt like a side objective instead of an alternative path for trainers to take, like in the anime

Just a heads up folks the ribbon for wonder trading in SV hasn’t been implemented by gamefreak, so if you do get a pokemon from wonder grease with that ribbon it’s 100% hacked and you may want to get rid of it!

I'm also interested in Budew! What makes it really exceptional is the incredibly low investment required from the player. You can have semi-reliable turn 2 item lock with Banette/Shuppet + Salvator, but your entire deck needs to be centred around getting shuppet + salvator + psychic energy + latias (to switch in case of no shuppet in active) online, which means calling bells, squawkabilly and lots of junk. I find the deck does decently but it certainly isn't overpowered against anything that doesn't rely upon rare candy.
