If your Evo X is stock, then [email protected] is not bad at all for the weather conditions. This was on July 7th 2023 and according to historical Density Altitude (DA) data at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, it appears you were racing in 5400ft DA conditions at the start of the event tapering down to roughly 4600ft DA towards the end of the event. I hate racing at LVMS during the summer because of this, so I almost always go to the December Midnight Mayhem which has way lower DA conditions.

Man you sure know how to make a guy feel better about his times 😂 The car has a few bolt-ons with a custom tune and my tuner told me I was pushing around 320 to the wheels give or take 🤷🏽♂️

@@luisruizz_ With your modifications I'm certain you would hit 13's in cooler temperatures. Just to give some perspective, my completely stock 2012 Infiniti G37 Sedan 7AT ran a best of [email protected] at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in December of 2023 when the DA was around 1900ft. I've always been a fan of Evo's IX/X as they are incredible performance platforms.

I just installed this same clutch in my car and there are 2 different ACT Monoloc collars for the Evo X. 884007 to be used with the stock clutch and 884006. im torn on the idea. owned 3 dsm all over 150k miles, no can and no issue. Now own a Fiesta 1.0L Turbo 126k miles no can no issues. all 4 cars have seen track days and more. Given the 2 of the dsm had to be rebuilt, one a head gasket and the other a timing belt tensioner failure. I see more and more newer cars running them due to the intake becoming oily and dirty. So whats the catch?
@luisruizz_9 ай бұрын
Just look at it this way.. it doesn’t hurt the car to have one, (I’d rather have it and never use it, than need it and not have it.)

Is that used oil that you drained out? Cause that is the cleanest damn oil i have EVER seen coming out of and engine 😂
@luisruizz_9 ай бұрын
That’s a great question! No, it’s not used oil. That oil is coming from the oil catch can. If I did not have a catch can, the inside of the engine would slower start to get dirty by releasing that oil into the intake where it doesn’t belong
