I did end of figuring out the issue, but it wasn’t a boost leak... Stay tuned for the next video. It’ll explain everything.

you need to throw that cobb away and get an opensource tune. it will save your motor

@@while-loop accessport as a tuning platform lacks vital safety features even with the best tuner in the world. first off if a tuner is willing to tune an evo x on a cobb accessport, they have no business tuning evos at all. thats the first red flag. Accessport works just fine for their supported platforms(subaru, gtr, porsche, ecoboost). they stopped doing meaningful updates to their evo x firmware around 2013. The most vital thing it lacks in its current state is dynamic temperature compensation, so if you get tuned when its cold, the car should pull boost and timing when its hot as the air is less dense, but the cobb completely lacks this 100% vital tuning capability, and will kaboom your motor.

You need to get your Evo tuned. Running that boost control solenoid without a tune could potentially hurt your motor. Stop messing around with those crappy accessPort tunes

@@demonevox8893 unfortunately, there aren't any local tuners in my area that have an all-wheel drive dyno, so my second best option was to get it E-Tuned through English Racing (one of the best evo tuners in the country) through data-logging I will be able to dial it in perfectly... but of course i'll save that for another video🔥 :)

@@demonevox8893 yup Chag has a great reputation and I almost went with him but I ended up going with Aaron from ER instead, they're both great evo tuners so at this point its just a preference lol
