A beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. I heard she was an extremely kind human being too. The whole package.

Amazing music from the 70's that we have taken for granted, I don't think we realized how fortunate we were to live in such an amazing time !

This song always makes me cry my A$$-off. Lost one of my Best Friends a few years at age 48, he was married with two kids. The first month I was still in shock and didn't cry once, then 1 month later, I hear this song out of the blue, and I just think of him as a little boy when this song was new, and the waterworks begin.

Beautiful Rita, Coolidge, the woman I fell in love with 1977 with that voice of hers, calming and relaxing, it just did something to my soul. I have missed hearing her until I found her again today this is music that will never get old. It’s music with the lyrics and strong emotion.
I was in high school 15 yrs old and I remember this song 😮 there are certain songs that get to me 😭💔 our 10 yr old son died in my arms at home 😭💔 it. Was devastating 😭💔

Love songs have been taken over by black rappers talking about their bitch, unfortunately. No wonder society went downhill years ago!

Outside, the rain begins And it may never end So cry no more On the shore, a dream Will take us out to sea Forever more, forever more Close your eyes and dream And you can be with me 'Neath the waves Through the caves of ours Long forgotten now We're all alone, we're all alone Close the window, calm the light And it will be all right No need to bother now Let it out, let it all begin Learn how to pretend Once a story's told It can't help but grow old Roses do Lovers too, so cast Your seasons to the wind And hold me, dear Oh, hold me, dear Close the window, calm the light And it will be all right No need to bother now Let it out, let it all begin All's forgotten now We're all alone, oh, we're all alone Close the window, calm the light And it will be all right No need to bother now Let it out, let it all begin Owe it to the wind, my love Hold me dear All's forgotten now, my love We're all alone
