What are the advantages? It's heavy-ish. You need to bring the pump (though maybe useful for the mat). Why is this better?
@OutdoorAesthetics_org
@OutdoorAesthetics_org Жыл бұрын
The two main advantages are a very fast pitch and that it is storm resistant because there is nothing that can break. It's just an alternative to a classic tent.

According to what it can do, it looks good and comfortable. But it's actually bad. If you turn it on and test it, it is very good, but when you use it for a longer time, you will understand that it is useless. After a longer exposure, it starts to fade: it reduces the light flux (the instructions warn about this), then it starts to flash (not a stroboscope, but uglier)

I could pitch a tent faster I feel. Also, with more features comes more things that could go wrong. I fucking want one though lol. The gimmick it it’s going for makes it $500 US dollars! That’s really steep. Especially when it probably costs $150 to make. How many could they actually sell to the average person out with their family?

Yeah, wire cutters can be very helpful sometimes. I once saved a cat, that was stuck in an abandoned basement, she somehow got in and couldn't find a way out. I used the wire cutters on my little Leatherman Squirt PS4 to cut the wires on the basement window and the cat escaped.

This thing is rubbish. I'm not sure you could call this a review either - you just read the sales pitch. It's heavy. It's small. Its untested in any actual weather. Can't expect much from a channel called outdoor aesthetics. How the tent looks should be the least important factor.

All Skeletool CX I have seen reviewed came with the plain 154CM blade. Mine has the partially serrated 154CM blade, which is weird. Would have wanted a plain edge. Got this as a gift, encased in a very nice LM tin box.

Nice review. However there is a problem with a "specific" serie of this product. I believe Amazon is selling a serie with a production flaw, which is not "leakproof". I bought this product from "trustworthy" Amazon without any hesitation, yet when I tested it, I found it keeps cool no better than a cardboard box! It was not leakproof.
