@haserot nah they do that sometimes when not guided. Just keep swapping and try to trap it! You may need to thunder punch with metagross to get rid of something too

@ShinyUnknownOT I'm curious what you find infuriating about it? Is it the mysterious ball thing, because I totally agree lol. I think a lot of content creators are really excited because it seems to be that most CCs are mainly shiny hunters and this is the first event for shiny hunters. Personally, I'm not too big on shiny hunting but I'm happy that they have an event for them! Even if it has a lot of flaws imo.

@@JinxedBoon a huge time commitment and a huge gamble for an okay prize. you have to have 25 committed people too. and better odds for people who have copious amounts of money. and sure... maybe it is fair game for the rich to get better odds. but this is not a massive event when 99.99% of shiny hunters are gonna sit this one out.

@ShinyUnknownOT that's totally fair. I guess I'll view it more like I view apex legends or league of legends pro tournaments. It'll be entertaining to see who the best of the best are, but it's definitely not interesting me to participate.

@on3z166 it really depends on the time of year since they come into the game during LNY. I recorded this just after the LNY event so they were cheaper at the time but you will have to calculate it yourself depending on current prices unfortunately

@SolomonWordcraft true! It definitely discouraged me from signing up for the event however as someone with over 100 of each ball, I'm very excited to cash out on the whales 😅 excited to see how teams like Mr hold up against the whale culture of the chinese community

@SolomonWordcraft the high tier ones would be things like charizard, aerodactyl, sceptile, and salamance from cherish balls. Shelgon, chansey, staryu, and glaceon from the great/ultra balls. And then premier balls are just a flat 50 points since everything is alpha in them

Devs are the ones doing all programming and gatekeeping code. This event is hosted by mods. So its misguided hate imo

Shiny hunters have never really got any official events before, so I think this is great for them, even with the kinks in it. Pvp players get consistent tier updates and extremely frequent tournaments, so I'm not really sure what you are on about with that.

@@JinxedBoon we are still missing hidden abilities, missing raids, no fairy types. Arguably half of the unobtainable legendaries should be usuable to help balance our broken ass meta. we’re all waiting and being patient and having faith in this game we all love AND then finally we get an update and it’s a shiny hunt update/event …. It’s a huge slap in the face. Pve and goofy causal stuff is always prioritized over pvp in my opinion from the devs/creators. And content like this that pushes that, hurts the part of the game I care about. You telling me that jellicent moving from UU to OU is an update? A pokemon were already using in OU …? Most pvpers don’t even play the UU tier. Tournaments are not new content. If you actually pvped even a little bit surely you would understand why saying that as a counter point is ridiculous. The only meaningful pvp update that’s affected anything in 6 months + has been dugtrio ban.

@Cheefsosa696 raids aren't pvp my dude. I also do pvp. Even though I am not participating in this event doesn't mean I can't be happy for those that are excited for it. I agree with your points that there is a lot of work to be done to the continuation of pvp however, shiny hunters literally have never had an official event supporting them. The only thing cringe here is you telling people how to play the game.

@@JinxedBoon raids are definitely a pvp patch. It’s implied we’re getting hidden abilities through the mons in the raids coming out. I’m not telling anyone how to play the game. I voiced an opinion on devs and content creators promoting goofball content that indirectly hurts pvp. you clearly don’t pvp like that and care more about being right than anything I’ve actually brought up. Like I said in the first comment, have fun promoting running around in a patch of grass for 16 hours a day man.

All of them are pretty easy but I suppose unova and kanto are probably easiet without using a guide

Sometimes the rng unfortunately stacks and you might miss a gym but basically just running quickly from gym to gym, using ctrl+a, and ensuring you aren't healing unless necessary are the best ways to get quicker!

@niharvanjari8911 I talk about it in the video since it depends on some things but typically just under 500k or so if you get all 5 done on a 75% charm

I wouldn't want to publish someone else's content without their consent either but if we know what the team is, maybe we can work on something for it? Honestly though, I don't find optimizing gym reruns to be super worth it though. You are going to get on average 50-80k more per run with WAY more effort

@@JinxedBoon Yeah I know it's not worth it, but it does get kinda repetitive to just do the same run with the exact same team over and over for me at least, so I'd like to get something new going. The team was Weezing, Zapdos, Excadrill, Typhlosion Blastoise and something else, it looked really cool but I haven't been able to get info about that strat anywhere

@Solsticee ah ok ill check it out. Sounds similar to xanarchys team. Would just need to figure out a good route but I ain't really into item swap runs personally since I typically do gym runs on mobile. I'll see if I can simplify a similar strat though

@chomosuke4584 it shouldnt be hitting poli. You need to time the belly drum so it is chosen in phase 1 and goes off as you swap into phase 2

@dylanstotts9438 never seen the earth power thing but sometimes on a budget build, it seems to target chandelure if entei comes out first. As for the second part, it sounds like you are mistiming the belly drum. You need to use it on the last turn of phase 1 so it activates as you enter phase 2, before phase 2 move selection.

@@JinxedBoon funny thing is I've heard that before, but Raikou came out first this time? And yes I timed the belly drum correctly, so idk what's going on w phase 2. To be clear, I've completed the fight multiple times with Entei coming out first giving me the only problem. Not sure why all of a sudden this is happening with Raikou out first...

@@JinxedBoon to be fair I've using your team for about a month (which is great btw thanks a lot!), and I just started to notice the two water inmune mons around a week ago, so that's why I was wondering if perhaps the teams for that gym got an update. I'll try using 2 Typhlosions now to see if the team gets more consistent for that gym.

Yes! You could probably do impish instead but sometimes you need to tank a super effective physical fighting move

I do a lot of breeding for profit so I typically do breeding bands because they are best return ($13/1BP) but otherwise the market shifts a lot so it's hard to say! Check the current price of items and divide it by the amount of BP it costs. Then look for whatever gives the most $/BP and buy some of those. I don't recommend going all in on one, otherwise you might flood that market and drive down the price though so either space out your postings or buy a variety of things like choice items, eviloite, life orbs, focus sashes, etc

Double check that you didn't accidentally put a potion on as the item! I keep mine on the hotbar now because I made that mistake a few times

@Selmo-xv7qq maybe just try to get the route better memorized and try to get quicker with button inputs. It should be pretty easy of you have bills strings! Make sure it isn't a different set of strings too because bills are the fastest

I use 50% ones. They cost about 50k rn and net me $53k-66k in breeding bands, depending on if I complete 4 or 5 champions

Patrouski is an incredible content creator with a very different style of content. I appreciate the sentiment but would rather not focus on comparisons on who is better. Let's just appreciate all content creators for their own independent skill sets for what they bring to the game.

It depends on the current market so you will have to make a call! I do a lot of breeding for profit do I find the best thing is the untradeable breeding bands. They are about $13/BP so I think they are the best value if you are going to use them anyways
