After being assaulted with Superman 4, I was ready to see this cartoon but it came on at like 6 am, the first cartoon on CBS and i could never wake up in time to see it. I was in the 1st grade in 1988 and remember it clearly. I douls only wake up in time to see the credits every single week. It was sooooo annoying and then the show jusy went away.
@Zeitgeist997Ай бұрын
Dallas is just full of dumb folks. They could arrange the order of those cartoons back then and instead of having a show like that come on later like with Xmen in 1992 (more complex shows come on later , 1988 was still so primitive that the local affiliate decided and they put this show on first. I guwss it all became moot cause they eventually stopped having cartoons on Saturday morning because of the spread of stupidity everywhere when Congress decided to ban cartoons unless they ripped off sesame Street because the dumbness just spread from the $hithole of Texas

I liked the art style - reminds me of a mixture of the old Fleischer cartoons and the SuperFriends art style. The Superman Family Album shorts were great - they really showcased the human side of Superman, which is what he is all about.

This is by far my favorite Spider-man. I have a soft spot for this show. It's the Romita Sr. Comics jumped onto the television screen. I know it gets flack for this, but the way it plays it safe, makes it an easy watch and a comfort show for me, that I don't necessarily have to think or feel with while watching.

This show was good , superman is very intelligent. And notice that in the Episode The Beast Under these streets, after lossing his powers. He can defeated a two thieves, fighting in human condition. Broke the show in Superman 2 from Richard Lester. And The Hunter was a prototype of Doomsday.

Hey dude, I was pretty sceptic towards this video when I saw the amount of views and subscribers but after watching it I think you have done a really good job. Let me tell you why. I think your editing is perfect. It's quick, it's on point, it's visually engaging, it connects directly to what you say. That's a really good job to do. I think you keep a really good pace of the information you're conveying. I think it's quick, but not too quick. In that aspect - it's perfect. I think you are focusing on some parts of the amazing comic book history that might be considered to be forgotten, and you do it in a way that feels fresh and cool. I really appreciate that! I think you have incredible knowledge on the source material which should be obvious to any comic book fan. I really like people who do things for their passion. Buuuuut To counterpart the positives let me think about some of the things I didn't find appealing. The audio quality of this video was really terrible. Inclusion of the narrator should be done in better quality as it doesn't match the rest of the video. The main narration was also received as something that was read from your childhood bedroom, not anything professional. From a narrative side - I would like to hear more examples from the medium you're describing. Not just your description of what's wrong with it. Show me what's wrong, don't tell me... Except for that? Cool :D

Great video! I checked the series out because of you! One note, IMDB has Mary Macdonald Lewis and BJ Ward mixed up. It is in fact BJ Ward that voices Wonder Woman in this episode and Lewis who voices Cyrene. So this show continued the use of BJ Ward in the role. The voice actresses are very distinct, right down to the little voice breaks that are Lewis' signature sound and present in the portrayal of Cyrene. As a Lady Jaye fan and a fan of Lewis, I can say with 100% confidence that there has been a mix up.

@ProjektTaku10 ай бұрын
@@mikesgeekcorner its okay, I was just saying that the arrowverse shows should've taken more inspiration from this show, but anyways, could you make a video charting the change in american comics away from anthology style series with multiple titles per issue to 1 story per issue? For example, Action Comics used to be an anthology comic with Superman as the main title, then switched to just featuring 1 superman story per issue, to then switching between issues 600-645 into an anthology comic with multiple ongoing stories per issue, like Green Lantern, Superman and Shazam/Captain Marvel, Black Canary etc, and has since switched back to 1 story per issue.
