I LOVED this series. Filmation treated Aquaman far better than Hanna-Barbera ever did. Note: In CHALLENGE OF THE SUPER FRIENDS Black Manta was voiced by Ted Cassidy.

Aquaman's first animated appearance, with his undersea telepathy and Mera's water powers, along with his teen ally, Aqualad, who is depicted here, without undersea telepathy of his own and Mera, who, in this cartoon series, is NOT Aquaman's wife, but depicted without her water powers and a dim-bulb of a brash, hot-tempered teenage girl! Personally, I wish the 1st volume of Aquaman: The Silver Age Omnibus would be brought back from cancellation, and THAT'S what I prefer, especially the Sea King in Super Friends!
