Not sure how I missed this, but thanks for checking out Bridear. Founded in 2011, they are one of the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have undergone a few lineup changes, and have experimented with various styles, but they always come back to their foundation of hard-driving metal-inflected rock. They have the quintessential twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Here is the original lineup: Kimi-Vocals Haru-Bass, growls Misa-Guitars, growls Mitsuru-Guitars (pink flying V) Kai-Drums In 2019, Kai left to start a family, Misa left to pursue her own musical vision, Mitsuru soon followed, and they had to bebuild. Amazingly, they did so without any loss in quality, finding Misaki and Ayumi on Guitar, and Natsumi, formerly of Telecide, to take over on drums (after a brief trial with another drummer). Second Lineup: Kimi-vocals Haru-bass, growls/metal vocals Misaki-Guitar, audience left Ayumi-Guitar, audience right Natsumi-Drums I saw them live in London just after this lineup came together, and they were explosive, playing mostly stuff from the original lineup. They have experimented with a variety of styles, dabbling in progressive and pop, but they still come back to their metal roots. In “Brave New World Revisited” (kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWeQgIuZrrKej6s) they’ve got a masterpiece. It’s also a tour-de-force for their brilliant young guitarist Ayumi, who has also taken on a lot of the writing for the band. In early 2022, Misaki, who suffers from severe stage fright, left the band for health reasons, and they scrambled to find a new co-lead guitarist. They have been joined by Moe, and their first release with her on board showcases some great dual shredding between her and Ayumi. From the original lineup: “Thread of the Light” (live) kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5_Fm36ngrSHm5Y “Light in the Dark” kzbin.info/www/bejne/eX-WfHd_d8miqbM “Ignite” kzbin.info/www/bejne/goKsdaSrmaySerM Second Lineup: “Starlight” kzbin.info/www/bejne/ap3UamN9prern6c “Bloody Bride” kzbin.info/www/bejne/eX-WfHd_d8miqbM “Brave New World Revisited” kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWeQgIuZrrKej6s Third Lineup: “Road” kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJTWhqONjJWIkM0 “Eyes of Doubt” kzbin.info/www/bejne/laCxn2yNnJKphLM (This was written by new member Moe.) They released their new album “Born Again” in June, and it’s a banger. BURRN called it a masterpiece. Metal Hammer compares them to Lovebites. They have posted three video singles from the album: “Still Burning” kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGi4gId4dtl9npI , “Cult” kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZmpl2SmrNyisJI and “Braver Words” kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2Wqd2qEn86Dock They have also posted a live video of the title song from the album: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmS8o6VtiNiea5Y.

Their song writing is second to none. If you noticed that the theme of the song is that her feelings are unresolved and when Dany plays the last note the cord is unresolved. You expect one more note but it is not played. Brilliant song writing.

You may notice (if you haven't already), when Pau bends forward and down sometimes before a big voice part, taking a breath. And/or perhaps focusing on it, first. Sometimes it's more pronounced than this, but here's one in this reaction: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oImZc3evgdZ5qZI

Hi there. If you plan on doing more Reactions to EC you dont need to worry about Copyright Strikes. So no need to skip in songs. If a song get´s a copyright, you can send a msg to the manager and they remove it and put you on whitelist. Like they have done with many other Reaction-Channel. They like to check out Reactions themselves. Keep up the good work. Would recommend "Pump it" next :)

New subscriber, I seek out people new to EC, you are in for a trip and I'll be watching. And as someone said in another post the baby is a nod to BabyMetal from their collaboration, there is nothing random.. You said you world check them out and you must. Electric Callboy and BabyMetal are my 2 favorite bands of all time and I'm 69 years old so I've listened to a lot of great bands. Both groups are unique and high energy. It also doesn't hurt that both bands have huge followings so you can be sure to get a lot of views and encyclopedic background information about both in the comments.

Japan has had a massive underground female Metal scene for years, but the record companies didn't think there was any commercial appeal so the stayed away. In 2008 one female band, Aldious, decided to start their own label and immediately got super popular, once that happened they rushed in to give contracts to all the female hard rock and metal bands they could find, and the ers of all Female Japanese bands began. These musicians are super talented, because they were all live bands playing in clubs for years.

Thank you for that fun reaction! 😊 Please react to the whole Tekkno Album. All songs and videos are outstanding. Catchy, often hilarious and masterfully produced! You could start with: - We Got the Moves - Pump It - Everytime We Touch Always choose the music video first! Then the collab with Babymetal: Ratatata (that’s where the baby is from - at least it was in the behind the scenes video to that song)

Hey i've just binge watched all your Epica reaction! Always fun to watch someone discovering this awesome band. One thing i like so much about them is how good they sound live and how they genuinely have fun and interact with each other. I HIGHLY recommend 'Sancta Terra' (Retrospect live) with a secret guest that i won't spoil but i know that you love. There's still many songs! 'Unleashed' (Retrospect live), 'The Essence of Silence', 'Design Your Universe'

I do like this track. Getting a grip on EC... I'd say my faves would be... We Got the Moves Hypa Hypa Pump It Now... I would also want to include Ratatata in there... but its a collab with Baby Metal. And if you're going to appreciate how well these two acts mesh, you have to get exposed to Baby Metal first (Gimme Chocolate was my first and though they have some great songs since then... I feel like that's a good jumping-on spot). If you spin up Baby Metal, then I'd jump in to Ratatata for blending.

Someone said "there's 2 phases of a person's life. Before Electric Callboy and After Electric Callboy" and I agree. Have to do a scientific study on what kind of serotonin the Germans manage to release in people with their combination of music & videos, all parts of the brain just light up with a special kind of exhilarating joy 😆🤘 Next? Hypa Hypa, We Got The Moves, Pump It, or if you want to see what they are like live (I saw them in Denver they are fantastic!) and a more serious side go with 'Parasite'.

The style is trancecore and Electric Cowboy is by far the most successful representative. The band only has the two singers seen first, as a clean/harsh combination. But there is no clear separation and they support each other. The baby is a baby metal. EC has reused unused parts of the song: BABYMETAL x @ElectricCallboy - RATATATA (OFFICIAL VIDEO) EC was founded in Germany in 2010 as Eskimo Callboy. At the beginning they were a pure metalcore band, but later the typical german techno was added. This brought them criticism within the metal scene and their biggest critic was the clean singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler and they split up in 2020. With his successor Nico Sallach came the international breakthrough in the same year: Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa (OFFICIAL VIDEO) The fame led to problems with their name. Eskimo is a foreign term for polar peoples in North America and neighboring countries. These peoples fight back and insist on their own names. In Canada, a band refused to perform with them, and a booking agency threatened to terminate the label's collaboration. As Germans, they could have been indifferent, as there are at least 6 different names for Germany: Why Does Germany Have So Many Names? To avoid further trouble and hurt feelings, they changed their name to Electric Callboy and took individual songs offline. They produce the videos themselves and the first storyboard is created during the songwriting process. Sushi has returned to pure metalcore: GHØSTKID - HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE (OFFICIAL VIDEO) Other representatives: RAGE OF LIGHT - Lead the Riot (OFFICIAL VIDEO) Enter Shikari - (pls) set me on fire - (Official Video)

It's funny that often American people misread the word in the title as "cosign", instead of the correct "consign". In "cosign" the stress is on the first syllable, while in "consign" the stress is on the second syllable. This makes it very easy to hear the mistake, even if the "n" is not very clear itself. "Cosign" is to provide a co-signature to something, such as in loans. "Consign" is to send something away (as in "consignment"), or hand something off to the care of someone else. In fact, the phrase "consign to oblivion" is an established part of the English language. I heard a BBC journalist use it once, even.

Expect? You already lost.Fot Electric Video this is a quite normal title. They Mix Metal with anything. With Nico this Addition is a bit Tekkno. They describevthemselves Psrtycore. They ate a German Band and exist under the Name Eskimo Callboy. After they realized that some people thought that they were Racist, they changed their name to Electric Callboy. And when their old Singer Sushi went they found Nico and he had nothing against Tekkno Elements they went through the Roof about half a year before today they had a huge Collaboration with Babymetal. And this titlebis probably the first title of their next album. It is a bit more Complex than ytekkno but a good start in my opinion Their usual elements are combinations of their soft vocalist Nico and hard vocalit Kevin.
