A tip to make this go better with the cracks. Get some cheap cake piping bags, fill them with bondo, and then use them to fill the cracks.

And always wrap up the pipe…. Not down,

Could of used a socket for tap

There’s absolutely no way of getting the cover off the heater without breaking it unless you unbolt the dash and move it back like 4-6” I stuck a 2x4 in there to hold it back while I worked on mine.
