I’m trying to do this same setup but with Equus gauges. They did not come with the mounts, do you know whether or not they sale the mount for gauges?

Just bought my first truck, I’m 17 and I got a 90 S10 as well. It’s a 4.6 and I plan to do a V8 swap eventually. So glad I found your channel especially since it is the same year

I have spent tonight watching your past 10 videos. I do not own an S10, but you have earned a subscriber because you make great content.

I'm planning a short block for my 95 Ranger, hopefully only the motor if I can mate it to my 2.3 auto that I have so not to change the transmission to save more work . I too might find the desire to get the upgrade dash and find this video as helpful, You video and work looks great Thanks for showing

I like those old dashes in the S10. I have a 1992 and I put Autometer gauges in it the silver face. Your gauges looks good in the factory dash can't wait to see more

They're pretty cool! I wasn't much of a fan of the older dashes compared to the 90 I had at first, but now i'm glad I get to work with the older dash. Thanks for the support!

They have a laminate countertop material that is a thin stainless metal with a thin wood layer backing. The finish comes in various styles and colors. That's what I'm using to cover my dash. You can order it from a specialty contractor store. It's probably the most cost effective finish for the price.

And when I took off the mounts of the frame the bolt welds on the inside of the frame snapped and had to grind it off the mount and cut a 1 inch whole so I could get a wrench in their hope you don't have same problem

Max Plambeck if I’m not mistaken ‘82-‘93 are the same, ‘94-‘97 are a bit different, then ‘98-‘04 are the same
