How is the car doing now? I have heard the ultimate solution is to replace the whole pack. Changing just a module usually does not last long.

I just did this. First the cartridge leaked around the o-ring closure that encloses the filter. I had to loosen it a little to make it stop leaking. Then once the first stopped leaking the second one started so I did the same thing. Then once I had them both not leaking there was no flow at all! I had to loosen the cartridge to unit connection a tiny bit and it all of a sudden had great flow and kicked out a lot of trapped air and now it's all working and not leaking. I guess the moral of the story is to loosen up a little 😂 I guess you just have to really rely on those orings because of the cheapo plastic threads.

I'm having the same issue with my system as well. Just put in two new filter replacements and not getting any water flow out of the system. If I slightly loosen up the two stages, water will start to flow.. but it will also start to leak at that point as well. Not sure why this is such an issue. I'll try calling AO Smith and see if they can offer any helpful advice.

You can try disconnecting the 12 volt for a bit and see if it will charge up. The 12 volt runs the computer so it can forget or reset like a lot of cars. Electrified garage can fix it, or Grubers.

Some people suspect it's an air blockage problem but i am not sure. I would try to fill the two chambers with as much water and try again. (or try to dry all water). One thing you might want to do every time is keep the faucet open when turning the "pressure" on.

Hello, on wich pins do you give power so that the controller goes on? In the documentary is a connection between 1 and 6 (key switch in) but there is no power input to find.

This is very dependent on specific model of Sevcon. This is Gen4 Size 8 I believe, and is even different than size 6. Message me at [email protected] for specific info and document links
If you will toggle the little black rubber button under the pod opening it will make the light come on and work. I got it from another idea and will link it if I find it.

An electric motor is an electric motor. There are DC motors & AC motors. Study electric motors & you will learn where the wires go. One of them has to be the ground or neutral, usually, it is visibly different than the others. Fatter maybe. the cables go to motor windings mayhaps there is low speed winding, a mid speed winding and a high speed winding. Is this motor equipt with dynamic braking? There will be cables for that too. There are 1phase motors, 2 phase motors, 3 phase motors. See if this might help>>> kzbin.info/www/bejne/oH-aoGquq7RphsU !
