I spent way too long searching for a perfect bending setup seeing how damn hard it looked to bend #4 rebar! I went out and used a magnet on my old 1/2" bender to make sure it was steel and not the aluminum, snapped it on and bent a 1/2" rebar like it was nothing! I would say it is about like bending 3/4" EMT as far as the 'pull' effort needed but it has been working outstanding. Then I just saw your video and agree, way too many acting like it's impossible without that four foot long $750 bender! NOT!

@ForestToFarm25 күн бұрын

@legionofanon26 күн бұрын
You're talking about tightening it to get it to stay on, but so often i see people take a trip that is as tight as it goes, even brand new, and just shove it on the zerk. In the long run it ruins them, and there's no adjustment to make it tighter
@ForestToFarm25 күн бұрын
I agree. Terry
@borealforestconcepts997927 күн бұрын
Thanks for posting this! I had the opposite problem - the coupler wouldn't fit on to the zerk at first. Once I loosened things up (took a lot of effort) I was able to couple on to the zerk with no problem. Thought I was going to need to purchase a new coupler! Thanks, again!

Are you guys removing those? Are not worried about rusting then cracking of concrete
@ForestToFarm27 күн бұрын
I have zero concerns. It’s done all the time. We have rebar property line markers that are 1/4 rebar that have been in the ground well over 50 years. Still there. Besides its not connected to the structural rebar. If it dd rust it will be a 1/2 inch hole going nowhere. I drill much larger holes in concrete during construction and its never a problem. Terry

98% grease gun ends are smooth round and nearly impossible to rotate with fingers. I considered welding 'wings' on the fitting for the tough zerks, when pressure is high. I have not spent the money on Lock n Lube yet.

@ForestToFarmАй бұрын
I know what you mean. There were a few times over the years that I grabbed hold of the gun and gave it a good hard jerk away from the nozzle 😂. So much effort and waisted energy used by so many over the years. Bet if we could harness all that energy we could move a mountain 🏔️. Thanks for watching and the comment! Terry

I wanna know how you sharpen it for it to cut you like that
@ForestToFarm27 күн бұрын
I assume you meant “cut” not “cut you” like that. So it just takes steady working the blade. Then proper technique when swinging the blade. I guess it just takes practice to get the feel. Either way be careful. Never swing in a way that could deflect and impact your body. 😁😳 Thanks for watching! Terry

Why not do work on several stumps at once from one position ? It takes a lot of time to change positions frequently.
@ForestToFarmАй бұрын
That’s a possibility. However it might get complicated when you need to move around. Some stumps take a lot of work from multiple angles. Terry
@truedoxАй бұрын
Would you describe the float function as basically just setting the current position as the new bottom while unlocking vertical up movement?
@ForestToFarmАй бұрын
Hmm. Well the bucket tilt remains fixed at what ever angle you set it at while the loader arm itself is allowed to “float “ up or down on its own. I think what you said is correct. Thanks for watching! Terry
