Hey Smart, I hope you get the chance to read this. First of all, I want to say how much I appreciate your continued commitment to software updates that enhance the driving experience. The system is already fantastic, but I wanted to share a few suggestions that I believe could make it even better for drivers: 1. Pre-configuration for Cabin Temperature via the App While it’s great to set cabin temperature through the car’s system, it would be incredibly convenient to control this directly from the app. Additionally, having the option to schedule settings for specific days would be a game-changer. 2. Miles per kWh Metric Many EV drivers, including myself, find it easier to evaluate efficiency using miles per kWh rather than kWh per 100 miles. It would be great to have this as an alternative display option. 3. Drive Mode Selection on the Steering Wheel The centre screen hotkey is useful, but it can be distracting while driving. Could we cycle through drive modes using the trip button on the steering wheel? This would offer a safer and more seamless experience. 4. Cruise Control Option Memory Currently, pressing the cruise control button defaults to Smart Pilot. It would be fantastic if it could remember the last feature used, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, for greater convenience. 5. Apple CarPlay and Climate Controls I love the full-screen experience when using Apple CarPlay, but accessing climate controls can be a bit tricky. Could the climate functions be displayed permanently at the bottom of the screen to allow for quick adjustments without swiping? Thank you for your dedication to innovation and for constantly improving your vehicles. This is just one of the many reasons why I’m proud to drive a Smart!

Dank. Dit was een welkome update. Willen jullie in de volgende update de volgende punten meenemen a.u.b.: - Ruitenwisser ( interval ) gaat veel te snel. A.u.b. beide intervalsstanden vertragen. - Cruisecontrol onafnakelijk van het gehele Smart Pilot systeem inschakelbaar maken, dit reageert nl. veel te aggressief. - Smart Pilot / Adaptieve cruiscontrol werkt niet met een fietsesndrager op de trekhaak terwijl dit dan juist zeer handig is omdat je dan vaak langere stukken rijdt ( vakantie / weekend weg etc. ). Ook hier zou het dus handig zijn om de Cruise Control los van Smart Pilot in te kunnen schakelen. - Na het gebruiken van een fietsendrager / aanhanger geven de parkeersensoren ( na het verwijderen van de fiets ) bij het achteruit rijden valse meldingen. - De verbinding met de Smart app wordt steeds verbroken, ondanks dat er aangevinkt is verbonden te willen blijven. - Autohold in de wasstraatmodus standaard uitzetten aub. Autohold in de wasstraat is gevaarlijk, ongemakkelijk en onlogisch. - Temperatuuraanduiding is niet accuraat. Geeft plm 2 graden te warm aan.

Is this function activated in Hong Kong?

Hello Smart . The speed limit option simply don't work. I just want the visual warning and every time i start my journey i need to disable it. It is very annoying indeed. Every time i start the car i need to activate the driver settings but speed limit don't work. I am upset with that 😡 Also it would be great to have a shortcut in the main screen or even better to associate those settings to user's profile( not the drive's profile). With that change i won't need to activate or press something before every journey. There is also recognition of traffic signs. It doesn't work very well. Sometimes i am already in the highway and it keeps beeping because i am supposedly exceeding speed limit but in practice I'm not. It is not very accurate. I will apreciate your effort according your client's feedback

Saving the digital key in the iOS or Android wallet would be great. Also, why doesn't it support Apple CarKey? This would be amazing.

Too complicated in my opinion. Also, please make it possible to assign indidivual drive setups to each individual profile using the car.

Es ist schon irgendwie traurig, dass ein Autohersteller sich einen work around überlegen und anbieten muss, um die völlig sinnentleerten EU-Vorgaben wie Klingeltöne bei einer Geschwindigkeitsüberschreitung relativ komfortabel deaktivieren zu können. Man könnte fast Schildbürgertum auf EU-Ebene mutmaßen. Danke Smart, dass ihr dieses Feature eingebaut habt! Für alle Kritiker, die beim Einsteigen jetzt (oh Gott!) einen Bedienbutton drücken müssen - früher musste man einen Zündschlüssel mit Adlerblick hinterm Lenkrad in einen Schlitz einführen, ihn drehen und halten. Dann hoffen, dass die Rödelkiste auch anspringt. Mit zufriedenem Blick das Gaspedal wippen lassen, um einem kalten Motor den Ölschleim zwischen die Kolben zu schieben. Dann, und erst dann durfte man irgendwann ein zweites Pedal treten, um in der Fahrzeugmitte den Rührlöffel bedienen zu können. Ja, das mit dem Kaiser ist mir bekannt...

Nice improvements smart, here are some really low hanging fruits for the next update: - drive setup to be configurable for steering wheel favorite (star) button - play last chosen audio source on next drive (atm nothing is playing on next drive) fallback to DAB/FM if last source unavailable - DAB/FM sender list to the left on screen (better reach) and Favorites as default if theres at least one favorite channel in the list - reconnect last connected phone on new drive. If unavailable, try reconnecting other known smartphones - if available, try switching to Carplay or Android Auto - enable auto steering wheel heating in ECO mode - keep seat heating setting after activating drive setup (actually it resets) - enhance AC airflow to rear passengers in Auto mode in the middle vents

Ich finde Smart macht einen guten Job. Nur einen Wintermodus mit Allrad hätte ich gerne. Und wenn man schon mal träumen darf, frei konfigurierbare Rekuperation. Und das die Fahrsounds frei einstellbar sind von der Lautstärke. Mir werden die zu laut, das ist schade, weil ich sie eigentlich mag.

This should be available from a button on the steering wheel or just set to a bloody default. Why do you think it’s convenient that I still have to do multiple screen presses and most likely while driving? Tbh I can leave most setting unchanged but one thing that grinds my gears is the sound for exceeding speed limit. It’s not even the fact that you only need to go one mile over the limit but also the fact that I set the cruise control or speed limiter and it’s the car itself that decides to exceed the limit and punish me for it. Who thought this was ok?

Please Smart, if you’re out there and listening to feedback, give us a miles (or kilometres) per KW option on the energy usage page? I find it so much easier to work out my Smart’s range that way rather than kilowatts used per 100 miles. Am I the only one…?

Can you please do something with the app regarding profile setting regarding seating position on drivers postition, for example if you have a small person driving the car before a taller person the car trys to squeeze you in to the smaller position,having app feature that can change the profile position would help massively.

What do I do, when I live in Denmark and it is not possible with my android phone to download the app (not reachable in Denmark)? Can Smart send a way to do it, because it is so sad not to be able to use the app?

Ich habe ein großes Problem mit Ihrer App in Bezug auf die Aktivierung meines Autos. Nach der ersten Aktivierung hat sich das System aufgrund eines Bugs von selbst deaktiviert. Seitdem kann ich den Aktivierungs-QR-Code nicht mehr abrufen - selbst nach einem kompletten System-Reset. Dadurch ist es mir nicht mehr möglich, die App und somit mein Auto zu nutzen. Zu allem Überfluss hat Ihr Support-Team mit irrelevanten Antworten reagiert, was die Situation nur noch frustrierender machte, bevor mein Ticket - nicht nur einmal, sondern zweimal - geschlossen wurde. Dieser mangelnde Support ist inakzeptabel. Außerdem ist der gesamte Prozess unnötig kompliziert. Zwei verschiedene Login-Methoden anstelle eines einfachen ID-basierten Logins, wie es bei den meisten EV-Systemen üblich ist, machen die Nutzung unübersichtlich und wenig benutzerfreundlich. I’m facing a critical issue with your app related to activating my car. After the initial activation, the system deactivated itself due to a bug. Since then, I’ve been unable to retrieve the activation QR code-even after performing a complete system reset. This has made it impossible for me to use the app and, by extension, my car. To make matters worse, your support team provided irrelevant responses, which only added to my frustration, before closing my ticket-not just once, but twice. This lack of proper support is unacceptable. Furthermore, the process is unnecessarily complicated. Having two separate login routes, instead of a straightforward ID-based login like most EV systems use, is overly complex and user-unfriendly. Please address this issue urgently, as it directly affects my ability to use my vehicle. This is Anti-Smart.

I bought a smart #1 and I absolutely love it!!! And this new #5 looks so nice! Can't wait to see it in production. I love your brand and its concept! I think I'll stick to Smart cars for years to come :)

Don't use the digital key!!! As soon as you use it , your physical key won't work anymore! And you can find yourself stuck without any possibility to start/drive/stop the car in case there is Bluetooth or internet connection issue and the app is not connecting. Terrible feature. Must be improved. It shouldn't be either the digital key either the physical key. Both should work together

Ich finde das Update 1.5 super nervig 😐Die aktive Geschwindigkeitswarnung akustisch nervt ohne Ende. Der "Drive Setup"-Button braucht 2 Klicks und 2 Swipes (das habt Ihr in dem Video zurechtgeschnitten)! Das bedeutet, dass ich täglich mehrfach klicken und swipen muss. Das kostet Zeit und Nerven. Ich wünschte, ich hätte das Update nicht gemacht.

It doesn't work me for some reason

Drive setup adjustment is a major improvement. Would love to see that to activate you can do so when you are in reverse and not in forward motion (D). When parked in most cases the first movement will be to back-up and auto activation of rear camera taked place. Much better not to have to deactivate camera to make drive setup change and re-activate camera. If possible you want to make this decision while stopped with a drive engaged. I am now selecting D just to activate and immediately select reverse.

urgent request⚠️ for the next update: please deactivate autohold when car wash mode is enabled. 🙏 This is not easy to deactivate within a few seconds when your car is already pulled from the wash line and can cause an accident. I had already some panic attack because of that 😱 Btw in wash car modus and during automatic cleaning of the car, the side sensors beep because of the roboter arms around. In my view they should be deactivated as well in this mode.

When « sending a charging station to car » is used, does it automatically trigger battery preconditioning as well ?

Great update but has anyone else noticed in the UK the reading of road signs is actually worse ?? I travelled on the same route and it could hardly register speed signs that are clear and normal if it does after going a mile or so will revert back to the three dots default on dash !!
