@@ajcball Strange, I had no problem with this sensor. Every time it reacted for me was for a legitimate reason (hand in front of the sensor or looking too much to the screen on the right ... to update assistance settings 😂).

It would be good if they could also adjust the intermittent setting for the front wipers too - I find that the first setting starts off ok but is quickly wiping far too quickly, I never use the 2nd setting as the first one is already too fast/sensitive and often go straight to the 3rd 'slow continuous wipe' setting (as in certain conditions the 1st intermittent setting ends up wiping faster than this). Could the first intermittent setting be say 1 wipe every 5 seconds & the second intermittent setting be a slightly less sensitive version of the current first setting?

@@welwitchia Yes, not only EV`s. All new car models, I think as of April 24 must have a number of assistants and they have to be active by default at the beginning of every trip. Smart can`t avoid this completely.

Wow I have been waiting for this! The drive setup function should be great! Thank you Smart for really implementing user feedback 🙌 You improved the cars so much allready with the updates. i love my #3 premium. Amazing car! Still I would like to suggest some other changes: - give the rear wiper a 7-8 sec interval as standard. It goes continues now. - In carwash mode please disable parking sensors and autoholdnfunction. - Make the indicator volume adjustable. They are to loud. - Add a locking system to the trunk floor. It now jumps with the cable over speedjumps and makes noise. - Change Smart autopilote max speed to 140km/h iso 130. - Show charging stops in route when navi to far destinations. - Front wipers don’t touch window above 60-80 km/h. Not safe. - Adaptive lights (auto high beam off) is very unstable. It’s constantly changing light beam on car in front. Illuminating the license plate. Than not. Than illuminated. It’s like a disco. - Thank you in advance! Keep up the great work!

Dank. Dit was een welkome update. Willen jullie in de volgende update de volgende punten meenemen a.u.b.: - Ruitenwisser ( interval ) gaat veel te snel. A.u.b. beide intervalsstanden vertragen. - Cruisecontrol onafnakelijk van het gehele Smart Pilot systeem inschakelbaar maken, dit reageert nl. veel te aggressief. - Smart Pilot / Adaptieve cruiscontrol werkt niet met een fietsesndrager op de trekhaak terwijl dit dan juist zeer handig is omdat je dan vaak langere stukken rijdt ( vakantie / weekend weg etc. ). Ook hier zou het dus handig zijn om de Cruise Control los van Smart Pilot in te kunnen schakelen. - Na het gebruiken van een fietsendrager / aanhanger geven de parkeersensoren ( na het verwijderen van de fiets ) bij het achteruit rijden valse meldingen. - De verbinding met de Smart app wordt steeds verbroken, ondanks dat er aangevinkt is verbonden te willen blijven. - Autohold in de wasstraatmodus standaard uitzetten aub. Autohold in de wasstraat is gevaarlijk, ongemakkelijk en onlogisch. - Temperatuuraanduiding is niet accuraat. Geeft plm 2 graden te warm aan.

I think the Brabus version has a snow mode. But it would be cool to have one in all versions. Even without 4x4, there are probably some things that can apply.

urgent request⚠️ for the next update: please deactivate autohold when car wash mode is enabled. 🙏 This is not easy to deactivate within a few seconds when your car is already pulled from the wash line and can cause an accident. I had already some panic attack because of that 😱 Btw in wash car modus and during automatic cleaning of the car, the side sensors beep because of the roboter arms around. In my view they should be deactivated as well in this mode.

Great update but has anyone else noticed in the UK the reading of road signs is actually worse ?? I travelled on the same route and it could hardly register speed signs that are clear and normal if it does after going a mile or so will revert back to the three dots default on dash !!

Drive setup adjustment is a major improvement. Would love to see that to activate you can do so when you are in reverse and not in forward motion (D). When parked in most cases the first movement will be to back-up and auto activation of rear camera taked place. Much better not to have to deactivate camera to make drive setup change and re-activate camera. If possible you want to make this decision while stopped with a drive engaged. I am now selecting D just to activate and immediately select reverse.

I use it all the time without the update, Foot hard on the brake, throttle to the floor, when the lights turn green release the brake, ! Be careful because it takes off like a scolded cat. 😂

The drive setup feature is awesome! Additionally I would like to be able to map it to one of the steering wheel buttons. Maybe by holding down the right round button or pressing the acc resume button while there is no previous speed saved. Otherwise remap a button of choice. I would probably use the one with the automatic parking feature.

Nice improvements smart, here are some really low hanging fruits for the next update: - drive setup to be configurable for steering wheel favorite (star) button - play last chosen audio source on next drive (atm nothing is playing on next drive) fallback to DAB/FM if last source unavailable - DAB/FM sender list to the left on screen (better reach) and Favorites as default if theres at least one favorite channel in the list - reconnect last connected phone on new drive. If unavailable, try reconnecting other known smartphones - if available, try switching to Carplay or Android Auto - enable auto steering wheel heating in ECO mode - keep seat heating setting after activating drive setup (actually it resets) - enhance AC airflow to rear passengers in Auto mode in the middle vents

Some welcome updates in this, I look forward to trying it out. I know why it's not there (EuroNCAP 5* safety), but holy hell if we could only save the setting to stop the damn fatigue warning, though! That thing is an absolute menace!

@@LetsRemax yes, I know how to disable it, but remembering to do it every time is patchy, and it's a faff to do. The 1.5 update now doesn't remember the speed visual only setting we had (didn't need to change that every time before). This is particularly annoying because the speed limit sensing is very patchy, so it pings at you when you're not speeding! These are relatively minor annoyances, I still love the car, but there's plenty of room to iron out some of this stuff.

Thanks for the driver setup button! Appreciate for the effort to keep improving the software. But instead of activating every drive, why not just let us save to the driver profile? Just get into the car and choose driver profile and that’s it, no need to swipe down and activate it. It will remain like that until we change it in the settings or change driver profile

I haven't managed to successfully get 1.4.1 yet! The update failed for a reason it didn't tell me and then never offered to try again. When I check, the car says it's on the newest update of 1.3.2 I wish you'd give the option to retry instead of having to contact smart to get them to push the update again.

The Launch Control is only a personalized drive mode, which can optimize vehicle acceleration from the stand still, but it is not suitable for all situations. Driver always bears the ultimate responsibility of maintaining the appropriate safety distance and vehicle speed and complying with all applicable road and traffic safety laws and regulations. Please get familiar with the operation of Launch Control in a closed section with good road conditions. 😊

Nice features, but instead of implementing such things like the rocket launch mode you should better optimize the navigation, charging station filter options, mark a road as closed, etc... For me the navigation is not usable at the moment... 🤷😕

He left some welcome ideas, having real-time rules and access to them, using cameras as night surveillance in case something happened, having consumption and travel made in more detail. Energy optimizations without losing power. Allow having a camera moving above 30km/h. Have real-time recording and access to them.

Ich finde das Update 1.5 super nervig 😐Die aktive Geschwindigkeitswarnung akustisch nervt ohne Ende. Der "Drive Setup"-Button braucht 2 Klicks und 2 Swipes (das habt Ihr in dem Video zurechtgeschnitten)! Das bedeutet, dass ich täglich mehrfach klicken und swipen muss. Das kostet Zeit und Nerven. Ich wünschte, ich hätte das Update nicht gemacht.

Ich habe jetzt seit einem Jahr den Smart #1 Premium, und ich muss sagen, dass das aktuelle Software-Update eine absolute Katastrophe ist. Die Software, die Smart verwendet, ist einfach Schrott, und die dazugehörige App macht es noch schlimmer. Ständig gibt es Probleme beim Einloggen, und die Funktionen sind weder intuitiv noch klar. Das neueste Update (Version 1.5 EU) treibt mich zur Verzweiflung. Während der Fahrt tauchen ständig unnötige Geräusche und Benachrichtigungen auf, die nichts als Ablenkung sind. Jedes Mal muss ich manuell am Bildschirm die Geräusche ausschalten - das ist nicht nur nervig, sondern gefährlich. Ehrlich gesagt, ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich so enttäuscht sein würde. So ein unfertiges System macht den Spaß am Fahren kaputt. Das war definitiv mein letzter Smart.
