I feel like she’s trying to mimic Johnny by pretending she didn’t know what movie she was working on… weird

No reasonable person believes in free money. I think the term glitch is moot. They know money comes from somewhere and it isn't theirs. They know it is happening only at chase bank machines. They know chase puts money in those machines. Even if they don't know it is chase they are defrauding, they knew it was someone's whether the government or other people. *You covered that

If they were going to attempt it why they didn't immediately fly out to somewhere with no extradition seems moronic. But then again, they apparently didn't think it was a crime?? (allegedly) So that's moronic to start with.

The crazy thing (IMO) is that he couldn't stop his dad, not because he was a big guy, but because of coercive control, but I don't think he understands that, and he is trying to explain "the I don't know" with "because he was a big guy". If his dad was small, I don't think it would be any different. It's so sad, because throughout both their testimony, it feels like they still don't actually understand what truly was done to them on a psychological level.

I think Leslie knows he may crumble with cross, so it's better for her to drive the hardest answers to get the best responce?

I can't handle, I'm really trying to figure out her demeanor with him (Leslie), I think this is training him for cross? It's my best theory, she learned how to get answers from him? Or that he needs to build his confidence with this approach or their effed? I WANT OTHER OPINIONS, or if anyone knows please share!

I think the story about Erik in the basement is a big one for Leslie, I suspect him telling her that, without likely realizing the CRUELTY it takes to do that to child. Maybe the moment she realized at their core they were cruel people, and I think most of us can think/ know how sick that is to do at that age, and I bet is was extra impactful to Leslie, because he likely didn't realize HOW BAD that story is. It's double sad.

I don't think the judge means Erik can't use it, but that Leslie can't (he said she can't say "dad" cause she says, "what did dad do" instead of :what did your father do" he says that she can't work it like he's HER dad. Which I agree with (I don't agree with a lot the judge does though)

I know I am late to the party on this series but it was sent to me by a friend recently to watch because of all the recent media on the hope they are released. I am the same age as Lyle so yea I remember this very well. I watched some of the trial back then but so many years pass and you kind of forget about it. Thank you for bringing that back in the spotlight. I always believed the brothers but back in the 90s, I was definitely part of the minority that did.

The attourneys questions don't make sense, "what is your seasick mother gonna do, bla bla bla", they were scared before going on the boat, how were they to know she was gonna be sea sick? Lyle's is consistent and just very beleiveable. What can they do on a boat when you can swim? I dunno, pull out a gun and throw you overboard?

I almost get a feeling of naivety (sp?), with his answers. There's no feeling of manipulation in his answers or anything. The feeling I get is that he takes the oath seriously and if anything for me it really helps, regardless of his answers. Sometimes they aren't totally great for him, but that is to me, good for him because if he's lying, he would lie there. I am so curious to see Erik o the stand.

AAANNNNDD… what survivor of SV is bed hopping?!?!?! She jumped from JD to EM to someone else and someone else and someone else and someone else… I get that everyone is different, but personally… I didn’t want anyone’s hands on me in any way for several years. Friendly or intimate. It was all no-no until I could get my brain back on track.

C'mon, guys. Get your shit together. Immediately correcting the only female lawyer on the stream when she suggests that something appears sexist is worse than childish. Claiming the op ed is an attempt to drag "all men" is straight up false. Saying "grab your popcorn" when Rottenborn tells the jury to prepare for graphic descriptions of sexual violence (even if they are false) is beyond disgusting. I am fully convinced that Amber Heard is a liar, but this should be about truth vs lies and abusers vs abuse victims, not men vs women. There are plenty of other lawyers, male and female, who are streaming insightful commentary on this trial without all the blustering bullshit these guys try to pass off as jokes.
