Taxrate at 51%!? What hogswash. Income tax is at between 29.1-32.7% (at least last I checked) and from that you get a 4.7% discount. I'm honestly baffled.

In answer to you wondering why there's only 15% Maori population and why they're upset at getting rid of a lot of Maori culture and words and rights etc. Well, once upon a time New Zealand used to be almost 100% Maori and pretty much everyone spoke Maori and learnt Maori customs. One day a big ship came with a white man aboard, I'll let you figure out the rest.

Ignore the people hating. You’re seeing similarities in languages because Hawaiian and Māori people are Polynesian and they use MANY similar words, and mostly the same sounds. The Māori people of NZ are likely descendants of Hawaiian people. Also what island were you from?

Mostly incorrect but some Maori people might be descendants

If you want to hear more of Ian Moss solo, look on You Tube for Ian's cover of "Georgia" live from the "Last Stand" concert. Truly amazing. Oh, and the reason the harmonica player doesn't run out of breath is that the sound that comes out is breath and air passing over a reed, and it makes that sound whether you are breathing out OR BREATHING IN. A very simple trick. Didgeridoo players need to be able to breathe in and out at the same time (a very difficult manoeuvre to learn). Bagpipe players inflate the bag and squeeze the air out constantly with their arms, refilling the bag as needed. It's more about breath technique than being able to hold your breath without passing out.

I did live through this. I saw it live on tv at the time. Elvis did movies from 1956 to 1967. This tv special was designed to showcase him singing contemporary songs, not just movie songs. This special was dubbed the "comeback special" because it allowed Elvis to return to live performing. Elvis has been mocked for so long, with caricatures of him everywhere. So sad to do that to an icon. He was so talented. Love, love your reaction. P.S. Hoochie Koo is rock and roll.

As a Swede I would say our taxes are a little too high perhaps but in general the benefits are huge in many so ways. The two most important areas, education and health care which if I'm being honest is the ones that could've been better, but getting those two right will solve everything else by default in a way. America is sadly killing it's own population.

Hey man I discovered you through Lara reactions, been binging them (almost) all lol Really enjoyed your material so far Some of them I saved because I didn't actually know the songs, I'm also a new fan of her Had pretty much the same reaction as you, how can this woman be so amazing yet so relatively unknown in some places. I'm in Argentina and I haven't heard her name until Floor Jansen did a cover of the great Adagio. The most famous songs mostly from the concert From Lara With Love I might have heard a million times but don't seem to get tired at all, she is just that good Anyways I know the great Eric does the suggestions but I have to ask for you to do Caruso and Perdere l'amore, from the same show These 2 italian songs will unlock a new level of emotional performance of her you might not imagine Cheers!

You'll have to watch something from Te Matatini. They're the national kapahaka championships. Your man Stan gas performed with a group. Worth looking up a highlights package purely for the diversity in haka and waiata (song). Oh and your pronunciation of māori is almost there. It's more of a rolled R, like a d sound.

Kia Ora E hoa, (Hello there friend) Kei te pehea koe? (How are you?) Ko Taame toku Ingoa (My name is Taame) No Aotearoa Ahau (I'm from New Zealand) Great reaction video bro! There's a couple of corrections from their video. Māori is pronounced maaaa-or-ree Gotta roll the R as a rrrrrrrr not a rhhhh. Queenstown is the tourist hotspot in the South Island, not Queensland. Queensland is a state in Australia. Our facial markings fall under the umbrella of moko but are called Mataora for men and Kauae for women. Hangi is pronounced harng-ee and it's like a roast but cooked in a preheated pit in the ground and covered over by soil until ready. Most I mportantly, you can feel the Mana or 'power' that our culture radiates. That's the feeling when you feel connected. Nga mihi ki a koe CVTEK1 (Shout out/many thanks to you CVTEK1)

It's hard to sum up a hundred plus years of Maori history, but watching a few decent movies might help, like... (Recent releases) the convert and ka whawhai tonu, which is based on my ancestors, also the deadlands (which is fictional, but still accurate and entertaining)

A good reaction but your source material was only B- grade. For example, in the "volcanoes" map, the South Island ones are actually extinct with just a few warm springs left. North Island ones are a different kettle of fish, though... Might be worth looking at a few KZbin pieces from overseas visitors to get a wider view of what NZ offers.

You hear a lot of - a ka e ta mo - yes, it sounds like a lot of similar other countries, especially Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, etc.... these are our brother/sisters lands in the Pacific... is why language pronunciation is similar, we're all a part of the POLYNESIAN Triangle (Many Islands) and/or MALYNESIA (Dark) e.g Fiji MICRONESIA (Small Islands).
