Yes always test on receipt, you can return anything within 30 days of purchase.

Do you know the moral of the story is When you buy something electrical test it straight away nobody within nobody is going to honour anything after two years feel sorry for you because no one likes a dead engine Even electrical items like TVs computers and so on are only guaranteed for 12 months in the UK so you’ve got no chance after two years
