Great plugins, thanks for sharing. If you decide to get Fors Opal, I would LOVE to see you messing around with it in a new video

whats your thoughts on the Sooth 2 VST? It's on a discount at the moment. Sounds to good to be true that it can sort out those high pitched resonant sounds that crop up in industrial techno.
@bozicsretenСағат бұрын
I have a same question :)
@marcus268Сағат бұрын
Yes, kill the resonance which made it sound good. Try with normal EQ first, than AB the result.

What you think about the Fabfilter Pro Q 3 ? I think is miles away better EQ like EQ8 from Ableton ! I am using actual the EQ8 but I am think about to Buy it ! Only this EQ and with the rest I am happy in Ableton ! Kind Regards dear Paul ! 🤗
@audioreakt2 сағат бұрын
for me at the end of the day its an eq, for sure visually its better but sonically not enough difference for me...

opal is great, they have a new percussion one called dyad which looks immense.
@audioreakt2 сағат бұрын
indeed, I am on the fence because they sound great but nothing I cannot do already with what I have, but on the other hand they looks very straightfowrd and like you can get result pretty fast, a bit like how syntakt synth engine are...

Have you tried FAW circle? Umek uses it. Great plug in. I also can recommend flow motion by waves. They have a couple others but this one is fm virtual analog. I think youll enjoy. 👍
@audioreakt2 сағат бұрын
I don't know about faw circle i am gonna check it out. I stay away from waves as sure you buy your plugin 30e now but next year you gonna have to upgrade if you want to keep using it and you will have to pay another 30e and so on.

yeah I've been thinkling about it actually, not the first one but the dark one yes!
@jellycoding4 сағат бұрын
@@audioreakt I like dark. But the first one had like a broad smooth sound that I liked. The little that we got to hear. You could make a release with both as main mix and call it Ying & Yang.

Bought one to pair w/ my digitakt/octatrack and sold my analog rytm. No regrets. I loved the rytm and all, but never really liked the results of the internal engines/machines, even after much patience and exploring ways to sculpt things. It is a great machine, though, but I'd rather have an Alpha Base, tbh.

Great video. Do you have connect the Beatstep to the computer and then the DAW controls MBase? Would love to control the MBase via a controller but would then lose access to the MIDi IN
@audioreakt5 сағат бұрын
thanks, I don't know because I dont see how you could assign the the cc for each paramter without the midi control app from arturia, you might be to first set up your midi controller plug into your computer, do the mapping in Midi cemter app, and then unplug and plug with mbase via midi only but not sure it will work...

@audioreakt5 сағат бұрын
@thibaud575 күн бұрын
@audioreakt4 сағат бұрын
@thibaud574 сағат бұрын

Very nice stuff, I had to laugh though when you said you use mid/side the less. That's the mode I love the most! When I want to widen a sound use shards on the side to add some crunch, also with automation it's very fun. But you compiled a super list of use cases here Merci!

Brother you make the most insightful tutorials, words can't explain how much you have benefited producers and techno as a genre. In a time where the word "techno" gets thrown on cheap tiktok hardstyle and a time of "genre gentrification", you have kept it real and shown us how to achieve an authentic sound. We need more people like you I have been watching you videos since 2020 and you have helped me heaps.
