If your coffee field catches on fire you're going to lose them all. Plant smaller groups far enough apart from each other that the fire won't spread.

fairly new. but my oasis is sort of central. has a neighbor spider biome for meat. lots of mining resources, trees, berries and grass adjacent. pigs not too far away. and not in a meteor field. think I will base here

I was reading back through my script ready to point out where I mentioned it in the video because surely I would have explained that but you're right lmao. If you haven't found it already, I try to look for the muddy biome (the brown turf). There are a few different areas of this in the caves but if you find stalagmites and cave lichen in it, you're on the right track. Grass and guano (bats) biomes normally mean that you've gone in the wrong direction.

I made this video before the Maxwell rework, so he is better now than he was before. However, for chopping down a lot of trees in a short amount of time, I don't think anything can come close to Bearger. You can run through a line of trees in seconds and then you just have to pick them all up. Maxwell is much better at that cleaning up afterwards for sure, and the extra space is amazing. For me personally, if Bearger is alive in the world, that is my first choice. If not, then Max, Wurt, Woodie or Winona (with her new stuff) depending on my situation. There are so many good and valid options, it's hard to go wrong.

Me on my way to comment on a 2-year-old video 🏃 For Krampus farm, you can use anenemy's to manipulate bird spawns (+ if someone is interested, you need approximately 112 walls and 10-12 anenemy's to build this farm, and like 3-4 statues so Krampus can't get in). There are videos on how to do it, but if you want, you can test it yourself.

I used some anenemies for my solo world krampus farm and they work really well, although I always manage to accidentally walk into them from time to time.

A golden nugget is also something you want to collect early. I was following one of your videos and thriving, but then had to find a golden nugget for a science machine and couldn't find it. I spend so much time doing all that other stuff first that I died by hound trying to finding a golden nugget.

Alright boys I’m about 215+ days in the OG Don’t Starve and surprisingly I haven’t explored one sinkhole yet well because I’m kinda scared of dying it’s so easy to die down there lol. I already found a miners hat, all I really want from down there is lightbulbs so I can make a lantern or 2 idk if it’s even worth going down there at this point but I’m getting kind of bored so I think I might just send it. I have like 4 forms of revival so I should be good even if I do die I’ve just been paranoid to lose my save.
