do a trapped lock dice tower so people have to try and pick a lock without causing the dice to drop and the drop dice could represent the damage delt by a trapped lock being activated

The largest initiative group on the player side was i think 12-15. There was 7 of us players, plus two dragon companions, and like 4 or 5 NPCs on our side, one of those npcs being Bahamut in disguise as a dragonborn named Keith. We were fighting Vecna. And then we had to fight Tiamat.

Just replace advantage/disadvantage by having them roll cursed or blessed dice instead.

It is cheaper to just say out loud "1's are 20." We are all good enough at probability math that for whatever purpose we do it all the time. Also random chance of forced reaction from a player roleplaying their character is a pain if they are not chaotic. Kind of stupid. Blursed ai art is not for me.

That looks awesome! So DMs can impose those dice as penalties to players?
@levikennedy271016 сағат бұрын
Idea, do that in reverse so that it becomes harder to get crits because eventually they'll be doing regular rolls

We actually have some data that support the drunken people being resistant to bludgeoning. At least in car crashes and falling from high places. Drunken and unconscious people tend to have less broken bones than a fully conscious person in those accidents. Still a head injury is severe independent of how aware the person is.
