No need to if you’re getting a camera that has a power cable built into the video component cable. The wiring is already running to the front. The cable that comes down from the trunk is cabling that goes to the radio.

@@leeevertt2728 there wasn’t a need to wire anything to the battery. All the wiring dealt with is at the rear in the trunk liner. This is because all of the wiring is what comes to and from the uconnect, which would include the power, video feed etc.

Sorry for the late reply. I’m not too sure about the front camera since my car didn’t have one. I’m going to assume the front camera wire is towards the front of the car instead of the rear. One way id recommended is opening up the wheel well (undoing the plastic taps with a pry tool) and looking inside the bumper to see where that wire goes.

No, you might be able to do that to get the power, but you’ll need to somehow connect to the wiring for the video feed. So that’s why I did the wire splicing for the power up there anyways.

Listen to your father. The Challenger looks way better without the spoiler. Especially if the car is black. Without the spoiler It looks mean stealthy and sophisticated . With the spoiler it looks not mean not stealthy and unsophisticated.

I’m at work rn and can’t really watch through it. But I think I remember him saying he didn’t have one thus why he was installing a 3rd party one. You can follow his since the wiring colors might be the same. I’d also check under your trunk lid to see if there is a wiring harness already there too. If not, you’ll probably have to install one from the rear to the front. Which may be a bigger project.

Im back here again trying to see how you ran your wires through the bumper. only thing is, on the inside of the trunk there's a black hard plastic piece covering the carpet piece by the trunk latch, was trying to figure out how to get it off so I can get to the carpet piece so I can pull that back to expose the vent where you ran your wires through. really want to do this install this weekend

If it’s the black clips holding in the carpeting, you’ll just have to pry it off. You can get away with using a flat head screwdriver. Just be careful not to break it. They’re cheap and available at auto stores. These are referred to as “Christmas tree clips”. If you have an interior pry tool, it’ll be easier.

He used a tazer. Using a tazer will activated many fun things in ur car. For example if u dont fog lights a tazer will activate it. A tazer cost about $240-$270 if u go to dealership they will charge to flash ur car which then activates each of those. Usually they charge about 145. For each. With a tazer ur pretty much unlocking it car.

No worries at all. Yeah, that's exactly what I did though. Took the ones at the very end and replaced them with straight pipes, then replaced the small cylinder mufflers and replaced those with the Borlas.

Harris Montevallo Afridi I don’t think it was necessarily due to low quality of the spoiler. Overall it was pretty good quality, I think the hole placement may have been slightly off either on my end drilling it, or it may have been on their end. The holes on the sides won’t cause leaks into the trunk as long as you’re on the outer end of the trunk. Water flows through where the holes are drilled on the outside anyways. As long as it’s on the outside of the trunk area
