Nice video brother. Having the same problem but I have 23k miles on the bike and it just started to happen do you think I could take off the oil filter without fully draining the bike? How much oil do you think I’ll lose.

Oh, and for the rest of us ... when I looked first at the front left side (2003 SV650S w/ ~21K miles) it looked like it had around 1/4 pad left ... I considered putting it off, but chose to check the other side since it was so easy... and sure enough the right inside pad was almost down to the corner, so of course I changed both sides. So glad I found this video. Thank you again!

Do you think I can do the same conversion for a gen1 sv650s without having to change forks. And I want to make the kit as road version, headlight options ?
@nicholasuselmann2469
@nicholasuselmann2469 6 ай бұрын
The forks shouldn't change the bodywork fitment. I've seen them fit on a first gen , but might require some "redneck engineering" I have no idea with headlights, you're blazing your own path on this one my guy 😎

Please do a video on the brake fluid change. Heard the rs660 has a closed system abs so it makes the job a bit harder/different. Thanks a lot in advance.

In dynamic mode seems to be a limit in the engine power to 58kW round 78cv. That's little far from 74kW or 100cv declared, you can review the telemetry if you install the original part "MIA" that allow you to connect the smartphone through aprilia's app. Didn't try seriously in race mode yet to see if the digit match, and i'm not than enthusiastic to measure in dyno if the 89cv to the wheel are real. In my opinion Aprilia did a great job with his elctronics assistances that make daily more confortable or why not good riding school

What’s the final word on the experience? How long did you have to wait for a replacement to arrive? I also have a headlight issue. My LED strip burned out on one side. It’s being replaced under warranty but I don’t know how long the parts will take to arrive

Regarding the slide pins, I've seen the grease get crusty and sticky over time so I completely wipe clean both the pin and the cylinder it slides in, including the inside of the boot. Then apply new grease.

I did this! Thanks for this video, instruction super clear. I wanted to check the brake calipers status of my SV650N 2007 (16 years old bike) and it turned out that two seals were not so sealing and I found mud inside the calipers. I was lucky enough not to need any clamp.
