What’s the final word on the experience? How long did you have to wait for a replacement to arrive? I also have a headlight issue. My LED strip burned out on one side. It’s being replaced under warranty but I don’t know how long the parts will take to arrive
@nicholasuselmann2469 Жыл бұрын
It took almost a year for the part to arrive, but this was also during COVID so I think everything was a bit slow.

I assumed you had that garage heated. That Ape needs a toasty room 😁. Digging the videos bud. 🤙

Thanks for the video. Do you have any idea how to solve a low idle (the bike stalls when using the clutch) and smell of burnt oil ? My 660 has this issues and the dealership said that a new spark plug will solve it but I don't trust it all in that solution.

See if there’s a adjustment to the clutch lever.

@@ll.7927 Aprilia replaced the whole engine, 2 months to do the job. I rolled almost 3K miles and everithing is ok now. I have also extended the warranty just in case.

@@eduardomgarcia Aw that sucks. I’m looking to get a 2023 tuono or rs660 but They just don’t seem reliable

Does the R7 have issues like this?

I have no way of knowing that. Sorry mate

R7 should prove much more reliable- engine is proven and Yamaha tend to be much more robust in my experience

hmmm problem I would have with this bike is my aprilia dealer is 150 miles away... I'd be pissed having to drive all that way with a motorcycle trailer to just offload my motorcycle and then get a new headlight assembly. Might actually be easier and cheaper to order a new headlight and sell the old one.

you d sell a faulty one ?

@@nicholasuselmann2469 i have the tuono v4 after starting on a single cylinder. The key to bigger bikes is respect and Discipline. I'm at 9.5k with 0 issues so far .I've only heard good things from local aprilia riders, so I would not worry too much On reliability as long as you keep good maintenance habits

Same here. I love euro bikes but most of them seem to be nothing but headaches. Triumph is the only euro bike that seems to be the most reliable. I’m actually wanting either the speed twin or street triple r. I love the Ducati monster 821 as well and would probably be slightly more reliable than the Aprilia however I’m still nervous.
@Rsixmardz2 жыл бұрын
@@keltecdan I can vouch for Triumph. The most reliable out of the euro’s indeed! I had a 2007 Daytona 675 and it was super reliable for the 3 years I owned it. I’m actually looking for a 2020 street triple 765 RS now. I have an R6 but for daily riding I’m gonna use the 765.
