Thanks for the gym tour. Great info. Can tell you use all the stuff. What is the point of the deadlifting? Not trying to be a wise guy, just really curious. It seems like it could be a high injury risk type of thing.
@CamberFitness16 сағат бұрын
I think it depends on the person. If you use proper form then you’re not as likely to get inured. I have a couple times that I think is more from overtraining (lifting heavy twice a week for months on end). I think I’m done competing in powerlifting now that I hit 500 on the deadlift. I have done it in like 6 weeks now.

Yea, they were being very agreeable. The one guy who pushed back just said, “steroids make you act like an a-hole…” I was like 🤦♂️. Dude’s only argument is a stereotype.

The irony of these gentlemen talking about the good old times ''when men produced more testosterone'', but then they are a walking pharmaceutical frankenstein expirement who have castrated their testicles abbility to produce said testosterone to the point my 7 year old son produces more testosterone then all those gentlemen put together... hell I bet my little girl could be compared as well, because thats how surpressive anabolic steroids are, they literally shut down your natural ability to produce. This is what constitutes a generation, their ability to generate, when you stop that ability to produce, you lose fertility and become DEgenerate. Be carefull kids, do not play games with the natural balance beyond what God intended, or the games are going to play you.

That's a great point! I wonder if there's any correlation to offspring of someone who abused steroids (if they're even able to gain enough function back to reproduce).

I want there to be a vitruvia category that uses the golden ratio as objective measure of symmetry, muscle size etc. That way it will prevent the muscle inflation we so often see in these competitions, and would remove marks for individuals who are too big.

All I’m seeing here is projection. How sad and miserable do you have to be to put in so much energy making a hate video? Calling Alex a “loser” and you’re out here projecting the most insecure and beta behavior. And then throwing in Jesus and scripture, as if you have some moral high ground and are holier-than-thou. Who hurt you? This is just embarrassing.
@CamberFitness5 күн бұрын
Should you not base what you believe on scripture if you’re a Christian? Alex claims to be but lives totally contradictory while being an example for younger Christian guys. How is talking about what scripture says “holier-than-thou?”
@joshdeese4325 күн бұрын
@ Y’all Protestants are weird. I’m Catholic, an actual Christian. Founded by Christ himself, by the order he gave to Peter to lead THE Church. Protestant/Evangelist thought essentially bastardized the religion and moved away from the one and only direct connection to Christ. The very foundation of your thought and doctrine goes against the word and will of Christ. So null and void, my friend.
@joshdeese4325 күн бұрын
@ What’s wrong? Deleted my comment because it hurt your fragile little ego with the truth? You stray away from Christ 😂 null and void Protestant/Evangelical BS. You bastardize the Church and the word/will of Christ himself, bestowed upon his order to Peter. Shame on you for standing on this false pedestal and proclaiming it as “truth”. SCUMBAG.
@joshdeese4325 күн бұрын
@ Why don’t you talk about that part of the Gospel? Christ’s order to Peter to establish and ordain HIS Church? Or do you Protestants selectively avoid that part? 😂 what trash.
@joshdeese4325 күн бұрын
Matthew 16: 18-19 "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." You know NOTHING of the scripture, bastardize the religion, and spew falsehoods to inflate your tiny fragile ego. Shame. I’ll pray for you.

Calories wise, yes it's like eating a candy bar and yes some do have more cals than candy. Macros wise, the best of em are like eating half a candy bar and a scoop of protein powder. If you are trying to lose weight like me, I actually agree with him, treat it like a candy bar. They are a calorie dense food with the only plus being ok protein. Most of these have the same cals as two cans of soda, just to put it into perspective. Also, it's not really a supplement, it's food. I do eat a barebell every day though, I have a candy problem. Grandpa use to say "starting today, no more cookies, candies, cake or pie". Lets just say sweet tooth runs in my family, both sides too lol.
@CamberFitness9 күн бұрын
I don’t really consider protein bars being a calorie dense food. It’s a snack that’s usually between 200-300 calories with at least 20g of protein. Calorie dense would like a scoop of peanut butter that is the same calories, has less than 10g of protein, and doesn’t really make you feel any less hungry.
@i5usko8 күн бұрын
@@CamberFitness Well it's not as dense as that but it's certainly more dense than most whole foods.
@CamberFitness8 күн бұрын
Of course. 👍 Whenever you compare packaged bars to real lean foods, they’ll always fall short.

Also just realised that the Rogue US site has the adjustable 3.0 bench in different colours. Only ever seen the textured black and Stainless black version. The white bench looks incredible especially with a stainless option. This is a slightly weird question but how does your wife find moving the adjustable 3.0 bench around the gym? The extra weight of the manta ray just feels like it would be a bother and Rogue don't seem to be putting out a leg extension attachment anytime soon
@CamberFitness9 күн бұрын
It’s definitely a bit weighty, but it’s easily moveable for me. My wife doesn’t typically more it around much. She’ll just use dumbbells on it vs moving it over to the rack for barbell work.
@roj_00010 күн бұрын
Great video! Would recommend the surplus strength safety spotters instead of the Rogue one's for the issue you highlighted. They take up less space on the rack and can therefore be placed lower on the upright because it doesn't have that large triangle piece underneath. Worth checking out although not sure if it is compatible with the Rogue infinity 2x2 upright line
@CamberFitness9 күн бұрын
Thx! I’ll have to look into that. 👍

So a crispy chicken club has more protein than a 9 piece chicken nugget? I find that hard to believe as there is almost certainly less chicken & simply bacon added which would be higher fat & less protein.
@CamberFitness10 күн бұрын
It may have more protein, but it also has more calories. Crispy nuggets usually don’t have as much protein as you’d think because there’s a relatively small amount of actual meat surrounded by a ton of breading vs a filet that’s breaded. There’s also the bacon as you mentioned and the bread that adds to the total protein.

Finally!! someone calling out the absurdity of Dr. Berg’s claim Protein bars aren’t perfect, but to say they’re worse than candy bars is just ridiculous. Watching This video does a great job breaking down the numbers and showing how protein bars offer clear advantage , more protein, less fat, and often lower sugar when adjusted for size. Sure, they’re not whole foods, but they’re way better than grabbing a Snickers if you’re trying to hit your protein goals. Thanks for bringing logic and actual comparisons into this… dr bergs video on this is a clickbait…
