I am really enjoy season 11 as I have every season. Please do not stop. I know longer have a spiritual director so this really helps. I have seen many episodes twice . I really enjoy the history but of course the spiritual teaching on prayer have been really inspirational. I would saved saved my life from suicidal ideation. Fr. Pere Georgio I write a lot of letters and correspond with many of my former mentees. It took teaching! Many college students do not even know where to put the stamps!

Thank you so much for this. Elizabeth of the Trinity is my patron saint and I have not been asking for her help.

What kind of novel was she reading? lol just curious

Just finished this book and it was very moving. You can see how she humbles herself in her autobiography (Story of a Soul) but her sisters captured her TRUE faith, suffering, strength, resiliency…always saying she could suffer more! But she also says if poison were near by she could understand why one would drink it in a moment of despair! To become closer with St. Therese… read this book. Very moving.

What a wonderful feeling that God transforms our wounds as opposed to erasing them.

Recently I’ve been guided to flip my talk:listening ratio from 80:20 to 20:80. 😂😂😂 Yes, the Holy Spirit basically told me to stop talking so much by showing me the spirit of God trying to squeeze between my words edgewise whilst honoring my free will. Thank you for this message. I turned to it for insight into the how of doing this and found it here. May God bless you all. ❤

Bro. John Mary I thought St. John of your Cross was your favorite. I will watch all of this series to see what is there. I am watching in January 2025. Excited as always to watch Carmelcast. I watch many episodes more than once. I have a few favorites too.

I am enjoying this episode. This is my 2nd time viewing it. I just got back from Adoration so that gives it even extra meaning as I reflect back on my time of prayer this evening.

This reflection beautifully captures the heart of Christmas. 🎄✨ Christ's Divine Exchange is the ultimate gift-He emptied Himself to fill us with His grace. 💖 St. Therese’s miraculous Christmas night reminds us how God transforms even our smallest offerings into something extraordinary. 🙏🕊 Through the Holy Eucharist, we are invited to bring our brokenness and receive His boundless love. What a profound mystery to celebrate this season! 🌟🍞🍷

I am enjoying it more the 2nd time around. I now have the study edition. I can better understand the podcast. Not sure if one can have a favorite Carmelite St. For a long time it was Teresa. I spent a long time in Rome praying before and admiring the famous statue of the Transverberation. I also identify with her struggles. But I love John's poetry and deep love. I am learning a lot about the value of prayer. The Eucharist and prayer! John for prayer and Bl Carlos Acutis for the love of the Body and Blood.

How many friends I have but almost no spiritual friends. IT is very sad for me. My spiritual Director , a Jesuit priest took his life. Carmelcast is so important to me. It helps me in my mental anquish.

Despair can lead to difficulty in prayer. Depression and suicidal thoughts can hurt the prayer life yet that is relief. Turning our problems over to God is the way out. But you must be persistent. But you have to have God's help or a favorite saint or our Mother.

I think I have one or two friends of faith. I have tons of friends from other faiths or no faiths. It seems very difficult to make friends with Catholics. I wish I had more friends of faith.

I was watching this with my mother. She doesn't know English and asked me what they were talking about, and I explained as much as possible. She asked for prayer from St. John of the Cross. He also helped me get through a difficult situation at that moment. Thank you again for your help.

I need direction because I want to help God but I have not been a cradle Catholic so I get confused. I just don't want to keep going through life not knowing what God wants of me. I have failed at many things. I don't want to disappoint God anymore. St Teresa please intercede for me. Please help me to do good and to avoid bad.
