Switch is cheaper. Until you realize all your games are on pc, and are worth over 500 dollars. And then they're also 5x cheaper, and don't require a subscription to play online

I can't bring myself to spend money on a switch. I have a sega genesis and the SNES classic edition mini console. I'd grab sega mini consoles too if the prices come down. I have wireless controllers from retro-bit and 8bitdo to play the SNES and genesis. The deck docked works great for multi player. I don't want to rebuy games...

My friend got me this for my birthday as I play guitar and mod gameboys, needless to say I am still in shock and awe at how cool at is, thanks for the breakdown video!

One thing you do notice with the screens is that the switch has more shine, so its worse to play outside. I notice that with my own switch oled and steam deck. When I went from the regular switch to the oled I tought there where going to be a bigger difference than it is. I can more easily use the steam deck outside and still see what is happening on screen than the switch oled. Its weird.

How do I install this in the SD card? I don't want the game to be in my internal storage.

I did the same thing. I have a PS4, Steam Deck, and a decent PC (3070 Ti), but I also got an OLED Switch two weeks ago, with Switch2 rumors buzzing. Nintendo stays relevant in my rotation because their games remain exclusive on Nintendo consoles. I keep my PS4 to play MLB the show since I don't like the performance of sports games on the Switch.

2024 is almost over... just got an OLED for the same reasons. Never really liked the steam deck as you are trying to play AAA games at a low low quality settings.
