I have a question for you since seem to be well documented on genned pokemons. Do you think that shiny pokemons from seeds tera raids are considered " manipulated " or " genned " ? I know that the technique to get them is hacking and illegal and non legit af but the pokemon you catch on the den who has the IVs and being shiny, he isn't any of hacked or genned since it's the game who created it and you catch it yourself. Hacked dens can't be generated online to be shared. These shinies from tera raids have the place of encounter " Crystal Cave " everytime, they went through hackchecks and tournaments and all the staff can say is : Your pokemon is very rare since the odd to find a shiny in a tera raid on SV is 1/4103 ( and not 1/4096 as people think ) and this odd can't be reduced at all by charm chroma or anything else. The method to get them is hacking, fine, but the pokemon who result of it isn't. It's like a bot who rolls the days and years to find the perfect den on your map that have a shiny so you don't have to spend centuries to find one, it's kinda a RNG manipulation via mathematics. So the question is still the same, do these pokemons for you deserve to get banned and considered as the crap people generate everywhere nowadays or they're legits and fine to go ?
@Verlisify28 күн бұрын
Its not hard to understand. ALL Pokemon that are the result of hacking or non natural gameplay manipulation are illegal. Reverse engineering the RNG of the game breaks ToS, which applies to VGC. If any form of hacking touches your game for any reason its 100% clearly cheating.
@zwolday567028 күн бұрын
@Verlisify So why are they allowing that much the spread of these pokemons then ? It's the biggest company on earth, we are in the beginning of the IA area and they can't figure out how stopping the illegals mons on their own games ?

So what is this argument about accessibility due to getting 0 IV's in attack? That was the biggest excuse they had back in 2023 to hack pokemon and now they are taking it as no big deal and something that is extremely niche? Really?!?!

I find interesting this topic, Pokemon being so reliant on RNG is a problem even during fights so turning a Pokemon with "good genetics" into a gacha price conflicts me and makes me understand people that think that such a rule is bad for the game, but in the otherside is really true that is completely unfair for people that respect the rules or that are unaware of how useful PKHex can be.

I also want to add that his Shiny Hitmontop is also absurdly dishonest on the same level as having perfect Shiny Legendary Pokémon. Evolving Tyrogue into Hitmontop is already quite tedious as is, and with this being Generation 5 where IVs are quite random and aren’t guaranteed to be great, that already makes it easy to put as an honorable mention. The math just doesn’t add up and while you could argue that feathers kinda help, it’s not even gonna change much with stat scaling upon leveling up. These cheaters have shown to not bear such patience, every single time.

@ I’m definitely no expert but some moves like rage powder you don’t necessarily want to PPMax as in end games you’d rather struggle and do damage as opposed to using the move. Also games never go to the lengths where you will use all 20 normal pp in a match. I’m with you though on the other stuff.

How big of a part of the game is building the team compared to playing? Is it like training for a fight, in a sense that it gives you a sensible advantage or is ot just time? Cheating should obviously be discourage anyhow, but I'm curious. I've only seen about wolfe in some videos but he seemed like a nice dude, goes to show you never know unless you're actively part of the community.

One thing people might also want to check on, you can enjoy content without agreeing with their views. A lot of people who defend Wolf might not even be cheaters. They just defend him because they like his content. But it's like, if you enjoy the man's content, you don't even need to get involved with the drama. Just watch what you enjoy, no one's gonna bother specifically you because of it. Learn to separate the art form from the creator. At this point I watch Verlisify because of the sunken cost fallacy, lol. Been like, what? Almost 10 years of being a sub? The cheater content gets annoying after this long, but Verlis makes good content, so I watch. I still want my rematch one of these days too, lmao!

I'm so sick of Wolfe's "I'm holier than thou" stance on the cheating. Bro is cheating, caught cheating, and says he's not cheating. And the way he calmly shrugs it off makes it seem like the situation is not as bad as it seems. Prize money lost, which should have gone to legit players. It causes this thing in his young fans heads where they have a "cheating is based, grinding is cringe" mindset, it's so stupid, it hurts. Use your time and you will be rewarded, none of that is being honored.
