Having spent half my life in AZ, first time seeing Seahawks at Sundevil stadium vs the Cards, many other games..the Cardinals dont have many loyal fans. Most people who live in Phoenix are from somewhere else, or "snowbirds" In the 90's the Cowboys basically had home games in Phoenix. Seems not much has changed.

I really loved seeing Saotoa Laumea running with Charbonnet! I don't remember ever seeing a linebacker do that - what a wonderful development! The O line was awesome in that game! And pooh to PFF!

My sense is they haven’t been able to get creative with things yet because of personnel limitations and/or not being able to execute some things during practice. So to prevent themselves from shooting themselves in the foot they’ve been limiting some options. With the intent of not losing a game because of their own mistakes. I feel like Schneider or McDonald wouldn’t hire Grubb if he didn’t have the ability to be creative from different sets. The offense probably isn’t executing the different looks well enough to run in games.

In our last 4 games I’m guessing we go 2-2, one of those wins coming against the Rams. We win the division, win the wildcard and lose in the divisional round. Coach Mike comes in as runner up for COTY

Whenever you defend the tackles, how it takes a while for them to settle into their new life... I always nod and say to my monitor, "Remember a dude named Bosworth?" I hated that dude. Okie Sooner badmouthing the Huskies who they then lost to.(Orange Bowl, if mem serves) POINT: If the fans hate your guts, you won't last long.

Remember what it was like in 2013. They're feeling great after beating St Louis, then the Cardinals come in on a Seahawks home game and beat us. Two weeks later, it's SF and their park and they beat us. Venue didn't matter. They had an attitude problem. Perhaps deservingly, but it was getting out of hand. POINT: what must their minds be filled with when they played the last game of the season against, of course, the Rams? They were 11-1 after the Saints win. Then BAM, at home, a loss. They go 23-0 against NY Giants. Then come back and it's a shocking loss to SF. (Which is, IMO, what was up Sherman's backside so much thanks to a lot of crosstalking pre-game nonsense) Now they're in the same situation: Several wins, feeling cocky. I hope they have the wherewithall to recognize the danger regarding arrogance.

Great show. Regarding how every aspect clicked. Was watching interviews from major sports pundits and such. I can't remember which one it was who spilled the tea on this turnaround of the 'Hawks. Presumably, Mike Mac told them to feel that every game is a playoff game. Caveat Emptor though. Something similar happened with the Mariners way back in the 90s when they hit the division title game. Everything was going okay until it didn't, and then suddenly they were back to acting like a double-A team. I really, really really hope the Seahawks don't pull the same shit.

Very unlikely, but could you imagine a Seahawks/Steelers SB rematch with Russ playing QB for the Steelers? If the Hawks can win the West, ya just never know what could happen.

Really like Jones IV, a stud (fun to think he might have learned a lot from Wagz that one season together), and Knight is a pleasant prize, but for all their good individual play I would say their greater value is they allow the front of the D to be more confident, free, to not be concerned about their backup on a missed tackle. Same for the back end, not having to play as much for covering up in the mid range of the field. Same for the O line. Laumea is doing well enough to allow Lucas to focus more on shaking off rust and working back to play strength. The two of them are working together very well. Dan, you positive commentary on the counter plays is good observation. There's a YT channel, All 22 Film where he does a how show on the counters and how important and well run they were, it's your kind of analysis. My overarching point is, a couple or so player changes can do the most important thing.....improve synergy of the entire squad. It improves play and allows the coaches to sharpen their planning and calling.

I’ve heard the idea of turning Christian Haynes into a center next year because of his lack of strength. Centers don’t need to be as strong as guards

Most of the 12’s at the game live down here. I moved here in 2001. Cardinals fans have been beat down for 20 years. They have their diehard crazies, but they are fair weather fans for the most part. I started going to Seahawks/Cardinals games at Sun Devil stadium in 03/04, and have only missed 1 since (other than Covid BS season). I’ve sat in that club section around the 30 or 40 most of the time, but if you go in that lower bowl section, it’s a different experience! I was in the club section this time and was blown away at all the empty seats in that stadium. But the food is terrible and ridiculously overpriced.
@ryanrichardson9915Күн бұрын
They are unbeaten this season with Charbonnet starting. I like that he actually hits the hole that the play calls for. Although, K9 looks so much better 7 yards deep and Geno under center. I think they spend way too much time in the gun. The ability to run playaction from under center is when they look the best. Geno is good under center too.

❤ yo thoughtful analysis but U forgot to mention lucky charm, baby Jack Mac.😊 Have PFF put a drunk analyst on 12s games. Abe & Hall & Ernest played kuch better than those disrespecting grades. Seahawks D is ranked 2nd best in NFL since wk 9 beginning November as per Mina Kimes & Orlovsky & Swagu show Newest 12 baby Jack Mac brung a 3-headed run monster & good luck to 12s since his birth into HC MacDonalds family. 99% of pundits still writing off Geno & the boys (but Geno completed 80% of passes - 110 rating - No INTs - Behind the so called worst iOL in NFL). The new iOL trio of Laken T Olu O & Satao L seem to have a natural chemistry & move instinctively together as one unit. They smashed the rivals DL to help Zach Charbonet rumble to a 51 yr TD like Beast Mode. Give Geno a little more time by enforcing the run game & he will explode into 🔥 form like when he won CPoY award in2022. iOL Rookies Laumea & Olu Olu improve every week with experience & gave Geno his first clean pocket all year. They have about combined 4 starts (& by the P/Os they will have about 10 combined starts & also K9 & DK & all pro level RT big Abe will be fully fit to COOK). It was always going to time to settle into a groove as 12s have rookies at HC DC OC & OLC. Really hoping rookies DL Mike Morris & OL Jerrell can get well & play well soon as star vets DT Jarran Reed & Big Cat Leo & star RT Big Abe will need rotational rests to keep em healthy & fresh. Hoping injury prone DE Nwuso & DE Dre Jones can make an impact soon as they are expensive & have not done enough due to injuries. They should improve rapidly be fully ready to cook for the Packers game led by big cat who says he has never played this well or felt this healthy since he started praying with Pastor Tyler Locker, Geno & the hawk boys Lumen field is a field of nightmares for Packers & Vikings. They will not sleep well as they prepare to face Seahawks. Hope 49ers defeat Rams next as it looks like Kittle has caught 🔥 & the Rams have peaked too early as per the Maths Profs predictions. U want to peak in January not December. Feels like a Lions Vs Bills Superbowl this yr unless Geno & Mahomes explode after thier OLs heal up & they get key stars back & fit & on 🔥 like K9 Mafe Nwosu etc. 12s OL will keep getting better & Run game has become a 3 headed monster with lucky charm Jack Macs arrival & when K9 returns to battle with his run bruhs Zach C & Kenny Mac ( who ran for 176 yds combined vs Cards) Rookie star LBs Tyrice Knight & Derek Hall & new boss of LoB 2.0 Ernest Jones have made a huge difference to the D. Adjusted Pass Comp stats are greatly impoved & D is holding rivals to less than 16 pts per game in last 5 games. No teams scored more than 21 on the new Mike Mac D with LBs Knight Jones Hall starting in last 4 wins in a row. HoF coach says JSN is a hybrid of Largent & Jerry Rice. Top pundits Mark Sanchez, DJ Dan Jeremiah & the other Barber twin said "Spoon is a hybrid of his HoF twin Ronde Barber & HoF Darryl Green". If Geno & the boys keep praying the Hawks gonna explode into the SB. It's a miracle Geno has survived IR behind the so called worst in NFL iOL in the first half season. Poor all pro C Connors was playing the worst he has ever played at C when he was clearly very distressed by personal problems of a very serious nature. Hope he has an OK Xmas day. U know Big Cat, Geno & the boys love the under dog tag. Geno was voted the comeback player of the year for a reason. Geno is The Alpha of the 12s under dawg pack. Seahawks love to win on the road & have approx 90% win rate to prove it.

Re: charbonnet. Good point. He was getting bagged on for no reason in my opinion. Poor scheme and play calling. This team with a poor line needs to get the running back to the line of scrimmage as fast as possible and that's what we weren't doing enough of when he was "struggling"

There seems to be a "thing" happening to our good running backs... they get broken. Calvin Procise. Chris Carson, and now Kenneth Walker. I'm just a girl learning about football. Having said that, what I've noticed has nothing to do with football. I just know, I can only get so many miles on my Harley, before I have to stop, fill up the tank, check the oil, add a little 60 weight if needed, wipe the bugs off of my glasses and just let her breathe. Just because a guy is good at something, don't over use it. Let her breathe. We saw what happens if K-9 can't play. We tore them up! Oh was it fun to watch. Our D-line was in synch! Our offense looked better.I LOVE MY TEAM! GO SEAHAWKS 💚💙💚👍

Good point on JS, Dan. If a team with a completely new coaching staff on all fronts can achieve a winning record in its first season (at least that's what it looks like right now), then the GM must have done a good job putting players together. The defense is coming together, the O-Line looked solid for the first time. I wrote it before the Jets game, we need 4 out of 6 wins. Since then we're 2-0, the Bears look very beatable. If we win one of the two upcoming difficult games against the Packers or the Vikings, we'll win the division, I'm pretty sure. And maybe we'll see one of them back at LumenField soon ;)

We'll hell yes we are BUT Geno still has sooo many Bullets for his gun! DK, JSN, Tyler, Bobo, Charbonnet and more great running backs. Perfect game for Geno to rack up those rushing years, as the Seahawks will once again look to max protect to help give Geno time. Though that means more DB’s vs pass catchers on the field, if Geno gets time like he did against the Jets due to the rb’s and te’s staying to help block, Geno could take off and get some positive yards, instead of forcing a ball in tight coverage or an incompletion.

Is there a Reason why D K Metcalf has been Irrelevant Lately ??? He used to be Important, but these last 5 weeks - Disappeared, This guy said Nothing about this for 25 min
@SeahawksForeverDanViens3 күн бұрын
Well because “this guy” doesn’t believe he’s been irrelevant. First of all he was hurt and out for 2 of those 5 weeks so….. Also a WR’s impact isn’t just measured by how many balls he catches in a game. Look at his YPC. He’s still making big plays on key moments all while attracting more attention from opposing defense thereby allowing more opportunities for JSN. Ball man. Ball.

Regarding your keys vs. focus on O line; there's a YT channel called Saturday morning that did a feature on Laumea and for the most part they were very positive. Likely some of that is "surprise" about a first start rookie. They paid particular attention to how well he worked hip to hip with Lucas on initial double team blocks and then switching off effectively. BTW, while watching that I also watched Olu and his weakness seemed to be in getting confused about his second block assignment when coming off the initial move. As far as a "clean game" penalty wise, Laumea was responsible for two of the five last week. If we can chalk those up to first game jitters, we may just have a much cleaner game this week, especially against a less stout D line. Edit: Hawk's Nest just posted up some good review footage on Laumea as well showing some other reps that were done well. PFF score is rediculous.....
@JohnMurphy-b2e4 күн бұрын
Yes, I watched that video, too, and learned a lot about playing on the O line. That was a great educational video!
