Oh I just got the silex 4000 a week back in red wine colour, and what a lovely bike… I wish I had known this was due a refresh, could have waited and got the new one. I would have loved to have the hidden cables frame! 😢

Oh great. The merida silex size xs has 55cm top tube effective. Sad for some who have short reach or people with 5'4" in height unless you have a long torso.

Their 52 cm TT'd Scultura Endurance was too big for my 163 cm (also 5'4") height but shorter torso than average. They completely fu**ed up their sizes. At least, I don't have to think about buying Silex or Merida at all. I'm not sure they even saw shorter people, not to mention, letting them test those bikes, just making stupidly sized bikes. Shorter people need 50-51 cm toptube sized bikes with 650b wheels.

damn reach is way too long for size XS its around 390mm i hope they could make it a bit shorter for the reach.

The head tube is not as steep and the stem is only 80mm.
