Depends on the kind of trader you want to be. If a more passive one, now is a great time to buy. Buy prominent coins (BTC, ETH, SOL) and just leave them. Check price in 6 months. Or if you want to be a bit more active you could DCA, dollar cost average. Basically buy a set amount of crypto at a regular interval no matter what they current price is (eg. buy 100 dollars worth of bitcoin every 15th and 30th of the month). If you want to be a bit more active tbh now is a very difficult market for everyone (beginners and veterans alike) since it's so volatile. If you do want to be more active in this market I would suggest: a. put a cap on what you invest a month b. identify major coins you are interested in (my suggestion again would be BTC, ETH, SOL) and just watch how their numbers go up and down - in time you'll get a feel for what is a good number to buy and sell at (eg. SOL at 130 is pretty cheap even in this market, buy it at that price and even if it goes down you have a good bet it will be above 130 again in the near future) c. don't be too hard on yourself - a lot of the traders on social media are always crowing about their profits and that can suck especially when you've lost money on trading; tune that out, take what you think is useful from their analysis and apply it to your own thoughts and strategies d. optional, play more poker, a lot of the mentality of risk assessment that you find in poker is also applicable to trading GLHF!
