Aventurine and Fu Xuan were the first two characters that I maxed out. I knew for sure I would have to be able to keep two teams alive for the game. The game doesn’t offer anything that can come even close to killing one of my characters.

Just constructive criticism, you should research and proof your vids more, a huge thing about Huo Huo is a self cleanse which means char turns aren't wasted from being cced. And later on you were confused between skill points and technique points.

In my own opinion, limited sustains are all bait. My main account doesn't have a single limited sustain and i've been clearing end game just fine. My 2nd acc has Lingsha just because i have therta and jade.

Healing is kinda obsolete, especially in harder content and the "tank" light cones are a joke too. Enemies still tend to attack everyone else more like than my tank so I throw out my Fire TB and Gepard. I would love to play with Natasha or Lynx but the healing they can provide are not just in time and my dps are still dying. That's the reason why I only take Aventurine and Huohuo (and Gallagher in my new Breakteam (still testing)). Huohuo just heal 3 allies but the 3 allies are all my dps. It's 1 in 20 chance that Huohuo need to heal herself. Gallagher can throw an emetgency heal, can heal the entire group and provide lifeleech. On the other side Aventurine can shield up everyone and that just depends on his luck and the enemies. And here comes the problem: HSR tend to push the fights and the enemies into harder and more unique enemies. In the beginning of HSR enemies had only single target or double target. Jarilo starts with low damage but triple target (also healable), Xianzhou had mediocre damage with all target. Then there was Penacony.... Penacony had stack mechanics, mediocre-high damage, set your hp to 50%, multiple attacks each turn on everyone and energy drain (and gain). So old healer didn't really have the chance to heal or interrupt the enemy. Huohuo can kinda interrupt the enemy with her ult-energy so other characters can turn more frequently, Lingsha has follow-up sustain (probably the most op mechanic?) and Aventurine with follow-up sustain. And I think you see a pattern here.

Also, i would argue that gallager is still slightly better than lingsha because gall is skill positive where ling is not. Ling might be a more number heavy healer, but gall is skill positive and can be built in many ways. Especially since unlike what the video says, galls heals do not scale with a stat. You dont have to build him off hp or break or anything else. So just load him with heal outgo plus and then stack whatever you want. He is almost a 5 star disguised as a 4.

i understand what you say, like a shield its like a second hp bar, but that bar itself dont regen so if you get too many hits without the shield you just ☠ but it will take some time for sure

Yukong is probably only character i listened to every single line of dialouge and document there is. Since first meeting, when you arrive in Luofu, something clicked and whenever she appears i just sit and listen to every sentence. And it only got better the further i went into the game. Every new appearance only strengthened the likeness for her character. I have yet to encounter a character so well written, that could grab my attention and keep me liking character more with each encounter. Even if her life is full of tragedy, the few happy moments she expirienced are very warm and they stand out from all that trauma. Sadly, i doubt we will go back to Luofu any time soon, but i look forward to it, and if it happens, i hope she will play at least small part in it.

I use Luocha more than Fu Xuan. In fact, i haven't touched Fu in months. Luocha has seen a new life after i realised hes just as good as Galla if not better outside break/fire weak enemies.

The woman's life is a goddam tragedy. Let not talk about her ghost mission from 1.5 Ghost Hunting Story with HuoHuo, Little Gui, and Sushang or 2.7 with Tingyun.

Well you forgot the fact that all shielded characters with Aventurine starts out with a 50% EFF RES so there's a good chance for effect resistance

well this issue doesn't tie to sustain only, it's just that sustain unit takes way longer time to become a remnant of the past

4:00 I think March still has her place. In SU and DU where Freeze gets buffed to ridiculous amounts because of Disassociation, Weakness implant and the extra freeze chances. EHR March can carry a team by just not allowing enemies to move at all. She's sustaining by both her shields and delaying enemies. Kinda like how Welt can sustain.

If the enemy can literally one shot your units (For example Gold and gear conundrum 12 with high disruption level), you would prefer shields over heal as it essentially doubles your health bar thus preventing you from getting oneshot. Other than that, I would argue that they are the same thing. Heals can keep you going forever as long as you don't die, shields can prevent oneshots but if they can break through the shield and damage you, you will eventually die.

Gatcha games do buff there characters some off them

It should be mentioned that Fu xuan has a control prevention built in her traces, so thats an extra reason she's often great, as it for example makes Kafka fights trivial, and makes dealing with Propagation bugs easy.

We can see now, that "move on from the past and find a new # that speaks to you when you can. It's unfortunate but i dunno figure it out" applies to all characters in this game. Isn't that delightful? The game is showing it's designed in a way so you'd get a new character, play for a couple of months and then get a brand new one.

I started playing hsr when acheron rerun started and I got every char (including the herta) except for jing yuan and my account is looking nice. I can run acheron aventurine pela or herta sunday aventurine and on my second half firefly hmc and fugue and I am managing to 11 star apoc shadow and am trying to clear stage 11 moc hopefully I can do it now that aventurine bug is fixed
