I might be alone and biased on this one - The Hyldian possession and orchestration of the arcs of certain characters is really lame imo... And it's because I played Blood Omen 2 BEFORE Soul Reaver 1&2... While hinted before hand in both, Blood Omen 2s story is so shallow that I never wanted to see them again.

That cut scene after the Ghost Ship has given me chills for 24 years.

Al min 11.45 si può vedere Janos che ritorna in forma vampiro e di conseguenza possiede il suo cuore, che fu trovato da Raziel nel periodo di Blood Omen. Kain come può averlo dentro nel suo torace e parlare con l'antico capostipite che già lo possedeva? Non sarebbe anche questo un paradosso? Non potente come la Mietitrice d'anime, ma comunque rilevante. Alla fine è un organo/reliquia importantissimo e utilissimo (soprattutto in Blood Omen).

Blood Omen and Soul Reaver are hands down the best games in the series. Wasn't a fan of Defiance at all. Didn't play beyond the first couple missions, and i never went back. Blood Omen 1 and Soul Reaver 1 were masterpieces.

It seems, at first look, they could be use only for the Champion of the Hylden, by Flaming sword. That can see i deph of Avernus/Abernus cathedral.

Strictly Fantasy. Why the Ancient vampires built the elemental forges for wraith blade e not for Blood Reaver? How can they know they will be used not the vampire but spectral creature like Raziel?

Melchiah's "offspring" looks like a combination of Romero's (I-Zombie's term for a zombie that hasn't fed on brain matter for an extended period of time and can no longer pass for humans, akin to those depicted in George A. Romero's, Living Dead trilogy.) and the Nosferatu Vampire class from Vampire. The Masquerade: Bloodlines.

I love the atmosphere of BO2 and that of Meridian! The sound of the lapping waves and the flying gulls above, the town comes alive like not a lot of video games can do. The gameplay mechanics are nowhere near as fun as Defiance or Soul Reaver; it's stiff in comparison, but still quite fun and addictive. It's low-key my favorite with BO1 from an immersive standpoint.

Character is now greatly invigorated! Character gives a speech that resonated with each and every one of their comrades, now overwhelmed with loyalty and moral, the main character heads off to battle! The battle is huge! Armies on both sides have Archers, warriors, clerics, monsters and wizards organized by generals and tacticians each of them nothing short of pure genius in the art of war. Character and co. Arrive at the battlefield and plan to regroup with the main forces; they see and ignore a single wizard barely clinging on to life before they hear, “Earth! Rumble!” A pit opens up directly below Character + party killing every single one of them before they could even register what had happened

Imagine how much more successful Kain’s dynasty could have been had he not nurtured an environment of jealousy, distrust, and competition between his sons but rather instilled a unity between them.

I don’t know if the Sarafan also attacked humans as well, Because I have a feeling they’re not friendly. Ah My favorite character

The issue with BO2 is that it could have been a novella or synopsis. It has always been obvious that it was poorly thought out and rushed. I remember hearing somewhere that it was meant to tide over the fanbase while the next full game (SR2? Defiance? I can't recall) was completed.

Lloyd doesn't just use the dragon buster insta kill against dragoons he just has very high odds of doing so. This can be seen by equipping the Talisman accessory, which prevents instant death. He will wast a lot of his turns trying to insta kill you but not every turn. He probably does the instant kill about 70% of the time. Also by the time you fight him for real you have access to 2 talismans and a holy ankh (which has a chance of reviving you automatically upon death)

Lloyd doesn't "let dart do the heavy lifting" against the divine dragon, Lloyd had BEEN Fighting it the whole time dart and Co. were making their way up the mountain of mortal dragon. It's heavily implied he is actively fighting it while the player is

I honestly doubt that Melbu in Zeig killed Claire. He was like far too busy dealing with Rose at the time. Rose likely killed Claire

Ok, i revisited BO2. And it's really not as bad as many would say. Though many things could've been better and more polished, its most definitely a product of a neglected team. That being said its also the one game that has given LoK what i consider the key to success, while the epic dilemas and struggles presented in the series at large represent what most of us find most appealing, BO2 brings us a fairly self-centered side quest contained within the folds of the series at large that could be taken atvantage of in many levels! Just as kain had this one adventure (and who knows how many more) between BO1 and SR1 so too can many characters be explored in a similar way without altering the delicate balance of what has been achieved in the main story of BO1, SR1/2 and defiance. Just imagine a game where you play as vampire raziel, a razielim, or Umah or even Janos! The posibilities are endless! And we have to thank BO2 for that... or at leas that's my option.
