You forgot that Charles Barkley teammate Kevin Johnson when both when he was playing and as mayor of Sacramento would prey on minors and even groped innocent students at school events in Sacramento. He also SA'd a teen in 1995

The 30 for 30 on this guy was eye opening. And I’ve always considered myself a big sports history guy. And I’d never heard about this guy’s story until 2013, 14.

To add on to the other stories in this video - During Marvin’s time on the St Louis Spirits, the team was set to depart on a flight from Louisville at 8 am that would arrive at St Louis at 7:56. After one look at his ticket, Barnes said "I ain't getting on no time machine," and rented a car for the trip home.

Aloha cball ! Cool channel. Keeping the past in the present. I do the same on my Channel. My dad has Gameday programs, college and pro from the 50's. Many of the players you talk about. I recently showed my 70's NBA cards. I also show autographs from my Dads book, Bill Russell, KC Jones, etc. I've watched a few of your Shows. Super ! C ya

Roger Brown was incredible. I watched him play many time at the Fairgrounds Coliseum where the ABA Pacers played. Silky smooth with an array of moves, Brown was a great player who would've done the same thing in the NBA if they hadn't screwed him over.

I would not call him a bust after all 15 years is a long NBA Career. His first 9 years he averaged double diget's in points and shot close to 50 percent from the field. You seem very critical of him bro, first 6 years his clippers averages are 13,3 ppg 8.7 rebounds pg .501 FG percentage 2.8 blocks .731 free throw percentage. the clippers having bad seasons was not purely his fault. nice video tho

Yep, Wilt was an amazing guy in many ways. He did not just disappear after his playing days. He tried to help and influence many for the good. As far as basketball goes, why he is often not in the GOAT conversation, I don’t understand in any way. At the very least, he is the greatest center of all time.

The 20,000 women comment is one I'm sure he regretted because it didn't really fit completely his personality. There is this story about what he did for Paul Arizin's granddaughter: Paul Arizin actually had a granddaughter and Wilt found out that she was dying of leukemia and when he found out he made it is his personal touch to talk with her every Friday for a whole year. He called her every Friday night. That's an incredible commitment to someone he didn't know but to reach out and just chat with her and just brighten her day and her spirits. And he actually took her to the celebration of the 50 stars in the NBA - the 50th year anniversary - and took her around. She was in a wheelchair by then, got her Bill Russell's autograph (and he wasn't signing for anyone) but of course Wilt went over and said "Russ this is for my friend" and she later died, and he wrote the most eloquent letter to the Aaron's family and you know I've seen that, and it makes you cry. That's the kind of guy he was. And he didn't make any fanfare about it, no one knew about it. He did this on his own because he cared, he was compassionate. " - Jim Barnett

Wilt was a gentle giant. With his world-class strength, he knew he could easily break or kill people. He let his athleticism speak for him. Blocked Kareem’s sky hook more than once. Versus bully dunking as much as Shaq did, he had a variety of bank shots & finger rolls. One of the fastest players on the court.

I don't know how there's any argument he's the best ever. It's truly not even close. He still holds over 60 NBA all time records 50 years later, lead the league in every statistical category (not 100% on steals) but he did have an 11 steal game which is absolutely insane for any position and these were his total game line stats: 53 points, 32 rebounds, 14 assists, *24 blocks, and 11 steals. No one ever came close nor ever will.

To stupid and lustful for his own good. Bragged that he slept with 20,000 women. He's not bragging now in eternal hell. God is not mocked, whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Wilt is now regretting the very day that he was born.
