Here five years later going through all of her diagnosis videos for the education after my recent diagnosis’s.. I’m so grateful to have watched her uploads as they came out, giving me the courage and the knowledge on how to advocate for myself. I wouldn’t be where I am now without this incredible woman.

Hi Jaquie! I’m glad you are getting more used to wearing your AFO’sI wear them too, and it definitely does take a bit of getting used to. I have a tip for you though, that may help you get your shoes on a little easier, and that is to take your AFO’s out of your shoes, and put them on first. Then slip your shoes on once your AFO’o are fastened onto your feet/legs. That is how I have always had to do it. I can’t get my shoes on at all while my AFO’s are in my shoes. I hope this can help you in some way. GOD bless you!

Grocery delivery is such a huge help when I'm too unwell to go myself.

I still watch Jaquies videos every so often. It still makes me so sad that she’s not here. I’ve since started collecting jellycats which is the brand of stuffed animal that she had. I hope Harlow is still alive and doing well and I hope Judd is doing good too.

Theres nothing wrong with a girl in a legbrace. I married one who has had one since she was a teenager. She has a severe limp but does most everything.

I think it's barbaric that doctor's still insist on doing this while the patient is awake. I think all doctor's who do this procedure should be required to have at least one of these done while in school in order to graduate!

I love the look of your wheelchair. I’m thinking about getting a wheelchair for myself as well. I deal with seizures do to my hydrocephalus. Plus I also have chronic pain as well in my spine and is making it hard for me to stay on my feet now. So ya I’m wanting a wheelchair for myself now to help with my mobility.
