If you accidentally drop alcohol while it’s drying you are done. How come no one did trial and error. For what you can top coat so Al cohol doesn’t affect it after cure if accidentally drops on it when dry.

Try using "2K clear coat" on the chrome paint. It should protect the chrome paint without losing any of the chrome effect.

Is it permanent when it dries?

Even if ius partly dry it might not be cured and could loose its shine when you touch it too early.
