Okay, for reasons I am not going into here, it is useful to get a second opinion from a regular advanced cancer center--should you be able to get to one. There are so many advances in breast cancer treatment. Lobular carcinoma has not been studied as much, so they are learning more about it each day. You want a medical oncologist who is up on the latest research. Lobular carcinoma is a subtype of breast cancer. It does not respond as well to chemo as does invasive ductal carcinoma--that is my understanding- though the research may prove this thought to be wrong. You don't automatically get chemo for breast cancer. There are many factors to consider. You usually have time to get a second opinion. Breast cancer is not an emergency. It is urgent, but not an emergency (usually.)

I hope you are doing well! Its important to research the metabolism of the cancer. I also have ILC, but classic ILC runs more on lipid (FAO and OXPHOS) than on glucose. So keeping cholesteol and saturated fat low is also key.

Hi Julie. I can't tell you how helpful I've been finding your videos. My twin sister was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma on December 19, 2005. So you having the fresh news and sitting by a Christmas tree reminds me so much of her. She put up a valiant fight, but on May 28,2010 she passed away. Her cancer had already spread to her bones when she was diagnosed. Six weeks ago, I was diagnosed with the same kind of cancer, but it was caught very early. Going through these steps with you has been a godsend because I just don't know what to expect. So much has changed since my sister's diagnosis. Much love to you for your bravery.

That time between diagnosis and getting a plan enacted is probably the worst. I got my biopsy on a Friday and results on Monday, August 19, 2024. Im 63 years old. I didnt want to get the results over the phone at work, so I made an appointment to go into the office. My nurse navigator was very nice. She went over my pathology report with me, but we didn't have hormone receptor results yet. That was basically the longest week of my life. You're so brave for sharing something so personal.

I just found your videos. I'm having double mastectomy on November 12 (unless they can get me moved up) and I was looking for videos by ladies who have had the same surgery. I'm glad I found your video. A lot of the other ones I've seen made it look like a walk in the park. I so appreciate your honesty about the bumps in the road you had. I know this video is old. We have a very similar story.I am a late stage 3,but a few months after surgery i felt as though it was not confined to my breast and regional area.It is really upsetting because i tried all i could,not to develop breast cancer,and it still happened!

Do you use organic food items, veggies, meat, spices, cheese, cream for your coffee or does it matter?

Actually, next Wednesday I am going for another one. But this time, I hope that I'm not as disappointed as before. Why disappointed? Because they didn't even give me a candy after the injection )))) But I saw in the fridge, a packet of chuppa chups, so I am hoping that my beautiful wife (also Julie) will bring one along for me ))))) We're also on property ... 970 acres but it isn't much good to grow anything (plant or animal) So we just enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Feeding kookaburras, magpies, butcher birds of a morning and a family of possums in the evening. Hi Julie, I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably. I would like to share the diet with you. The soup Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat. Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready. I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. (Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.) During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you. I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that you will be healed. Amen.
