My weight is 70 kg, now there is a choice of which size of kite to buy, 13 m XL, or 15 m XL? As long as there is a line of those 8m, 11m, and 15 contra 2020 kites, can I replace the 15 contra with the 13m XL, and will the 13m moto xl be enough for low rpm and traction, as opposed to the simple to sharp 15m?

@KiteboardingStPetersburg Haha, great idea with the headphones😁😁Thank you so much for the feedback on COS bar, just wondering if its worth to make an upgrade from 2022 Trimlite- but I just began my adventure with kitesurfing, so probably will stick to the Trimlite size L I guess(I own brand new set of 2022 Switchblade 10m + 12m and Contra 15 m and new Trimlite bar.)But I love the unswivel feature on the COS🤩Thanks brother!👋

Thanks for your videos! I really have a problem with jumping, furthermore with my 9m Dice SLS. With the 12m everything works like a charm: edging, pop, going upwards...just reached 6,80m and consitently jumping over 4m without kickers, heli looping sometimes... with the 9 almost every jump results in a instant slow forward rotation which turns me half around! Can't figure out what I am doing wrong with the 9!

Great review! I've had a couple sessions now on the Vapor and got to try it back to back with the Ace Hybrid, which I really like too (both 135 and on bigger fins). The difference in water catch/edge is very noticeable, with the Vapor I could go full throttle in small chops and edge without holding back at all, which rewarded me with added height and confidence. My dad tried it and instantly felt it too. The Ace still felt good and maybe a bit smoother but I couldn't go as aggressive as with the Vapor. The Ace is quite a bit lighter tho, which I liked but the Vapor doesn't feel too heavy, you get used to it. Those graphics on the Vapor really pop irl, loving it. Cheers!

Modern kites don´t inverse as easy as they did 15 years ago, due to improved bridle setups. I have done this a few times when kiting of a boat far from a beach, and in deep water with 30 knots wind. It´s absolutely doable, and it should be mandatory for kite-schools to teach this technique. Just like a scuba diver needs to learn to loose his mask at 10 meters depth, and breathe through a regulator without inhaling water through the nose. It´s essential survival skills.

Amazing that there is such a significant measurable performance difference over a single model year 😮 Cabrinha has more or less split the target audience of the Switchblade, into MotoX and Nitro. Or am I wrong?

@@KiteboardingStPetersburg foils relaunch in 5 knots ! Firstly they don't fall in the water nearly as much because they float down not fall like an inflatable
@thekiteboatparty35682 ай бұрын
yeah that is not an IKO self rescue but its better than many ‘self rescue’ (birdnests) i’ve done and even if people remembered that they would be sweet. And while i love my flysurfers and foils, unless you are pro race foiler you wont want to be out in that little wind anyway so why not practice as he’s doing. Love the super light relaunch tip too.
