@@deffcon9 One of the very first things my dad taught me, was how to swing a hammer. At ten years old I could drive that nail in one clout and it took about twenty minutes to learn how.

Should have put them in prior to doubling the rafters, then could nail or screw through the single rafters to that header, then double up the rafters afterward.

Make you a cut peice of wood two of them that is the width you want your 1xs and then run it no measurements slowing you down roofed houses for years doing metal roofs cut you two exact length you want them to be in between and run them your wasting so much time dude fr

Can't be in the US... brick is not structural and the framing must be attached the exterior wall. Many think brick is a structural part of building when in fact it's just a facade and is there to just protect the house from the elements.
