SAARC is defunct only because of Pakistan. Pakistan wanted to business with all other countries except India. India gave MFS Status to Pakistan in 1996 as other SAARC Countries, but interestingly Pakistan gave MFN Status to all other countries except India. Pakistan followed strategy of ' Be poor - Keep poor , Be hungry - Keep hungry ' for it self and its neighbors thats why Pakistan has tense relationships with all of its neighbors except China. India wanted to grow so decided to go ahead with all of its neighbors but not with Pakistan coz deep down India and rest of neighboring countries knows that Pakistan is hindrance in their collective progress.

About SAARC and Pakistani's double speak and deceit 👇🏻 India had given MFN Status to Pakistan and all other SAARC countries 1996 so that both the countries can have good treading relations but Pakistan never reciprocated with the same to India with an arrogance that it wont be any beneficial for Pakistan and thinking that if Pakistan is not growing economically, India is not growing either so no MFN Status to India. Interestingly Pakistan gave MFN Status to all other SAARC Countries but not India. This is how Pakistan is serious about regional integration and regional trade.

At 58:45 Ambassador Shahid Malik cried India didn't come to Pakistan to play Asia cup in 2023. But as a Ambassador of Pakistan and so called intellectual of Pakistan he should have known that it was firstly the Pakistan in 2018 didn't come to India to play Asia cup, so BCCI had to held Asia Cup at UAE.

At 4:50 General said about Hamid Mir's statement about Modi wants to visit Pakistan on early 2021, actually at that point India was facing massive second wave of Covid 19 where we were facing lot of medical problems because of that second wave. Would Modi have visited Pakistan living his country men in medical emergency that too for nine days, We Indians don't think so. This is just one more conspiracy theory by Pakistan, Actually most of Pakistanis are good at conspiracy theories.

In last few days India is doing a number of naval exercises with East Asian nations including Japan . India is also adding critical equipments in its navy .. Bokhari is right in a way that so far India’s defence focus and strategy were on northern and western border .. but now the focus has come on projecting naval strength . In and case India’s navy wit its aircraft carriers , nuclear powered powered and nuclear armed submarine and modern frigates has more punch than Australian and Japanese and UK navy in AUKUS .

Sorry but your Pakistani interlocutor wasn’t very articulate … He was parroting paradigms of being nuclear power , blaming India for extremism in Pakistan magnifying India’s interventions . When you listen to common people in Pakistan you wonder how this nation of brainwashed religious fanatic zombies has any future . Funnily your ambassadors was pronouncing the Name Kamla as Kamala .. looks like he is Americanised Paki … I know for a Pakistani it isn’t possible to take a dispassionate view when discussing anything about India 🇮🇳..you need to look at India US relations beyond counterweight to Chana , as a market for products and strategic autonomy as a cornerstone of guiding principles . In fact it will take US a lots of convincing and an intellectually honest approach , a change in the mindset of an average American about an average Indian 🇮🇳 and a better understanding of Indian values and culture before a worthwhile and a longstanding relationship can form . Howdy Modi and Ab ki baar TrumpSarkar sloganeering are shallow reflections of a relationship which has less substance and more drama . if US is serious and both India and US are committed ( not Trump and Modi) than both need to look at the history of USSR Russia and India relationship dependence and mutual love and respect developed and take lesson and draw a comprehensive road map . …

Hasina made two vital statements after being deposed. That USA is trying to create a Christian country in B'desh-Myanmar-India border. Is USA looking to open a land front with China. That will actually be in favour of India.

although USA denies having a hand in the Bangladesh regime change, and an Islamist govt takes over, India has to reassess its strategy to secure the North East. What this will do is India will withdraw even more from Quad, Has USA shot itself in the foot by ousting Hasina.

USA incorporating Philipines and Japan because they are significant Navay power. But since India is not a significant Navay power and has just started now, can't be taken as a serious military alliance member. But this pakistan dumb does not know that india has never made itself available for any kind of military alliance. QUAD was non-military alliance, hence AUKUS was formed.

What US realises is that India is not Pakistan. With Pakistan US says jump Pakistan says how high, when US says to India jump India says why? US wants India to stop asking question, but just follow instructions as the European do. But these Pakistan as usual are dumb so they try to turn and twist to feed their ego than state facts.

I agree with many of Dr. Bukhari’s comments. The Americans know that Bharat will not be an Australia or U. K. Short of that the Americans will be content in strengthening Bharat to be able to stand up to China in the Himalayas, and to help the nations of the South China Sea to be able to stand up to China. Bharat is already supplying naval craft and Brahmos missiles to Vietnam and Philippines. It is exploring the South China Sea for hydrocarbons. China knows that Bharat is no pushover and will not try its water cannon tactics. Bharat will give China a taste of Galwan in the SCS. So, the U. S. will settle for a strong friend, short of an ally. Look at what Bharat is to Israel to make my point. Dr. Bukhari, notwithstanding the present that Bharat is not a marine power, it will not involve itself in global disputes even after it becomes one. Bharat will play an increasing role in anti-piracy, and rescue as it is doing for the vessels in the Red Sea hit by the Houthis.

India is not going to be part of any military alliance with USA. Even India was against converting QUAD into a military alliance. So, thus guy has to get a lesson on india's plan / strategy. India doesn't want any military alliance with USA and its not the other way around. India, is not a mercenary state like Pakistan. India will never fight Americas war; on the other hand, if india fights China, it will be for indias own national intetest and not because America wants.

Cheemaji, India was never part of russian block or american block. After independence, we obviously wanted assistance/ help. Soviets were ready to help in industrialization and in fact, almost all our initial PSU were with help of Soviets. West wanted us to remain consumer society , only producing raw material .Russian helped us become industrilised and naturally , we shall have more deal with them. They helped us with Rupee- Ruble trade. you preferred USA, you are still consumer society. This block business is for countries like Pakistan. Even today, we shall buy machinery/ cars/ arms / ship etc from that country who will help us in manufacturing the same. Block concept is alien to Indian Psychic.

Global Combat Support: America 🇺🇸 defines military role for India ------------------------------- The whole region of South Asia faces enormous pressures in the America - China - Russia faceoff. Events unfolding in Bangladesh are just a primer. For example, will Indian 🇮🇳 PM Modi follow through on the upcoming visit to Ukraine and meet Zelenskiy in August to appease America? What America really wants from India? 1. Scores of military bases. 2. Massive Indian forces to provide 'combat support' for NATO's war efforts in Ukraine and upcoming battles in West Asia. America's expectations are that India 🇮🇳 should do the bulk heavy lifting against Russia, China and Iran under a commitment to provide Global 🌎 Combat Support. These are utterly unrealistic. But America's unrealistic expectations of India are derived from 'history'. After all, 3-5 million Indians from Undivided Colonial India fought for the British 🇬🇧 in the two World Wars 1 & 2. But India will not do so now. Because India's strategic autonomy is derived from it's anti-colonial struggles 1857-1947 that define India's nationhood and articulate Nehru's Non-Alignment foreign policy. Therefore, across the political spectrum in India there's no leader who'll be the (Hindu) Zelenskiy on behalf of America and against Russia or China, despite significant disputes with the latter. Surprisingly, no media channel explores this angle to the current crisis. It's as if it's South Asia's stain of sin and shame that needs to be kept hidden from the present generation. .

The U. S. exercises strategic autonomy itself. The American relationships with China and Pakistan are not dependent upon the strategic concerns of Bharat. Henry Kissinger reportedly quipped ‘to be America’s enemy is dangerous and to be its friend is deadly.’ Bharat is aware that the U. S. does not hesitate for a moment to throw an ally or friend under the bus for its national interests. For Bharat, Russia is a time-tested friend, where as the U. S. is a Johnny come lately as a friend .
