Nah the craziest romance is Jump is Blue box because it's the best shoujo ever written but its never gonna get real attention because jumps main crowd won't spread it's gospel.

Now that jjk is over, I can say that one thing I’m really sad about is that we never got to see the rest of the brothers. I get that Gege was rushed, but there were originally 10 of them, 11 including yuji. And then their plot line just sends so abruptly with yuji eating them for blood manipulation powers. Even when choso finally dies, he only goes back to kechizu and Eso, not the other 7. If the anime ever gets to the shinjuku showdown, I hope they go into much more depth on the death paintings, like how bleach gave us more on the yhwach backstory and squad zero.

In my First Watch of the Anime I knew its the Possible Best Romance Story I've seen in Anime It hurts me when I see they can't talk to Each other, when they aren't side by side, when I don't see them together This is the Kind of Love Story that makes me Root for the Characters and Not only Our Protagonists but the other Characters are Equally Fabulous too though it hurts again to think what will happen with the heart of Aira and Jiji if they couldn't find their love Great Storytelling no Doubt Its worth to Live for I hope there are not more Episodes like 7 (To a Kinder World) as its not easy for me to handle It had a long impact on me to see these kind of stories in a Children Centric Narrative

Gege has repeatedly and endlessly stated that Gojo and Geto are each other’s not just friends but 親友 (shinyuu) meaning the closest friend one could have, one that is almost like a family. For example, it’s what Nakamura (Gojo’s VA) calls his own best friend Sugita (Gintoki’s VA from Gintama). Gege has emphasised it many times, has been open about how despite being so popular with women it’s Geto who snags more women than even Gojo himself. Not to mention had them both salivate over Waka Inoue who was a big time gravure model in that time in Japan which is basically the most straight thing in Japanese high school culture. Literally canonically those two characters are idolised by women in Japan and ain’t no one talking about some “queer” messaging because they understand the text and Japanese fandom isn’t plagued by searching for some “queer subtext”, they don’t operate like that, in shonen manga on top where the mangaka has already taken bold decisions to include trans and bi characters and has no fear to hide them yet repeatedly says these two were the bestest of friends. Gojo is so popular in Japan, he’s literally called “number one love rival” for men up there, he has endless amount of fangirls but also as is usual for any media in Japan, he has many Fujoshi fans meaning women fans who always ship two men, meaning yaoi shippers. Fujoshis have been dominant shippers in every manga from Attack on Titan (shipping Eren and Levi aggressively) to Jujutsu Kaisen (where most popular ship is literally Yuji and Gojo). Shipping culture in Japan is separate, meaning they don’t mix the ship talk with canon discussions because everyone is aware not to do that and that companies like merchandising and teasing fujoshis with various posters and merch that are never ever canon. Same is the case with JJK, where absolutely everyone from Voice Actors (the actual Japanese ones who count and not some English dub actors) to the mangaka himself have been calling Gojo and Geto THE BESTEST OF FRIENDS. all the merch or poster or some very badly translated line about song whose writer literally said they are friends too, is always aimed at marketing to fujoshis and never taken into account in canon talk. They are not concerned with some “queer undertones” or “sending message” in some panels because the Japanese fandom is literally not obsessed with it all like west seems to be and sees some hidden message everywhere. Especially in battle shonen series. Anime production wanna gain as much profits as they can, it’s why Attack on Titan would spend endless scenes on Levi and Eren for example, to gain attention from Fujoshis, etc. that’s how they operate. That’s why they do the ops and Des to garner as much attention from them. The songwriter for Ao no Sumika which literally means the blue spring of youth - a concept incredibly valued by Japanese who see that time as the last moments of freedom and levity until the adulthood and responsibilities come. And it’s the time they look back on most fondly, it’s reason so many anime or manga are set during that period, in a society that values work above all, to the point so many drive themselves to overwork. And what they value most again is FRIENDSHIP, even more than romantic love in some cases. The songwriter has already explained how he views this relationship as the relationship between two friends that can never be brought back, as can't the blue spring of youth be brought back. It's like pulling out Naruto ops, or some bleach ops and trying to find some hidden messages there. And to end it all, Gege literally said that if Gojo weren’t a sorcerer, he would love to be a sugar baby to an older woman, specifically in romantic way! Just the same way Toji wants, and tracks with his love for older women like Waka Inoue.
