Also, that brand of mic (I have one just like it, so I'm presuming it's an AT 2020) comes with a stand so you don't have to hold it in your hand like that. It's a great mic, and I hate to see someone saying they'll never use it again just because they were using it incorrectly.

And finding out she has a higher body count than you do at the start of the game in every sense of the word. And Leliana trying to be a better person.

I’m incredibly relieved Cullen’s voice actor has been fired. I’d be fine if they recast him for the next game, but I doubt that’ll happen. His story ended with his retirement.

I romanced Merrill as fem Hawke and it was great. It's not as great narratively as Anders or Fenris but like. She's the smartest character in the game when it come to her stuff. Every risk she's taken has been calculated and the only reason she "failed" was because no one took her seriously. They only saw a naïve girl stumbling over her words. She did nothing wrong, Isabella was the only one who respected her, and Marethari was a dumbass idiot. So if you ever replay the game please romance her, she's great Oh also in my headcanon post-game Isabella, Merrill and fem Hawke are in a polycule together

Leliana appeals to a guy like me who likes a fem fatale with a soft side, especially for me. Morrigan is like the hard mode relationship if you could pull it off its great but too much can go wrong. Leliana is if you're not a boy anymore who still looking for a challenge with women, and just want someone who authentically loves and appreciates you. Sao gives straight dudes a hard choice tbh cuz both of them are great in their own ways. Da2 was eh for me. Isabella is like why, merril is the same. It's nice the idea of making isabella a better person but shes so trashy it's a hard swallow. Merril is too bumbling. Cassandra aged like wine for me I didn't like her to start cuz she was butch but shes a good woman at the core, shes what you want in a partner. Shes leliana but warrior archetype whereas leliana is rogue. not class, character archetype. Waiting to see the mage archetype equivilant rp see how it plays out. I think why Cassandra grew on me is I used to identify warrior now mage archetype, so my taste changes to fit a warrior. Josephine was nice just a classic romance. Sera was awesome I would romance her as a Male if possible. Shes what us overhinkers need is someone a bit nutty to distract us but good at heart. Solas doesn't count.

I felt a lot better about the Blackwall romance because you can slow burn it and there's an option to not sleep with him and he respects that decision but the romance still proceeds, so that weird sleeping with him under false pretense thing is out of the way at least. Zevran is still my favourite though.

My first DAI playthrough was rough as a gay female dwarf and ended up with Josie as she was more open than Sera to my girl. The Egg hacked me off from the start as he trolled my dwarf right from the start.

Ah, Mass Effect. Such a great series squandered by the ego of the writers, EA, and crunch. As for me; I was all about Kelly. Yes, she was a flirt and all, but she was one of the few that was completely without guile as a character. But, it's safe to say that everything was written by straight, white guys that were writing out their wish-fulfillment girlfriends with none of the awareness. I didn't know as much at the time and didn't think much of it at the time. How wrong I was. Also, I too wrote lots and lots of Mass Effect fanfiction, also as a way to cope with the crappy ending. But yeah. I wasn't too enthused about going back to the Legendary Edition because of all the baggage it carried from my less than cordial encounters with the fandom. It was fun, Mass Effect, but I think it's time for all of us to move on to better things.

Garrus's romance is one of the best in the game imo. He teaches Shepard how to dance 💃. It's great

I have the artbook for Mass Effect and the designers said that they designed Ashley's look in ME3 to be 'sexier'. It's the usual sexist thing we see in games unfortunately, cause they mention on the next page that they designed Kaiden to be older/grizzled. I didn't play ME until legendary edition (I was purely a DA fan) and while it isn't as spicy, I do really like having the same character and having them be separated from their love interest each game (the heartfelt reunion, drama if you romance someone else lol). The citadal DLC was also really entertaining and purely fanservice but I ate it up as someone who romanced Garrus lol also the toenail comment about garrus i'm sobbingggg
