I wanted to see how this was done, I own an 07 F150 and I have safelight Installing a new windshield today. I've been driving with a cracked windshield for almost a year, makes no sense because I have Glass Coverage and the New Glass only cost me the $50 deduct able ...Go Figure right.. Is this oem glass or aftermarket? I just had mine done with aftermarket glass since tesla couldn’t service it for 3 weeks. After the install I couldn’t turn on AC/Climate control from the mobile app. Keep saying “Climate On Failed” has any of your customers have that issue?

@@tonybrit2k im not sure maybe they messed something up when they were installing. Got an appointment with tesla in 2 weeks, already quoted me $380 hopefully nothing more than that when its all done.

7.48 he says motherboard but thats the hvac sensor. Maybe they did not install it correctly.

I kept trying to see the little black notch at the bottom is it supposed to be centered or slightly to the left when you're sitting inside? I just had mine replaced and wondering if that little arrow in the bottom center is supposed to be perfectly centered if that makes sense.

On the bottom I have had an easier time feeding the string between the track and glass to keep it catching on the bottom pinch weld

Probably the most thorough windshield replacement for a Tacoma on yt. Only complaint is that it seems like you are pretty young and fit but the entire video you’re breathing like you weigh 300lbs and walked up a flight up stairs lol

If your vehicle has a camera that has lane departure / auto breaking when in cruise control. Easy way to spot a camera on the windshield it is a triangle cut out in the middle top part of the frit band.

Top of the cabin? Held by Trim Retainer, Side Molding - Driver's Side (LH) - Ford (4L3Z-1803137-AA) and Side Molding - Passenger Side (RH) - Ford (4L3Z-1803136-AA) for 2008 could be the same.

If the camera used for ADAS systems is not calibrated, the advanced driver assistance systems may not function effectively. This is because when these cameras are relocated, they cannot adapt themselves. Calibrating the car ensures that all ADAS cameras are positioned correctly and facing the right direction 👍🏽

HAD A NEW FORD OEM WINDSHEILD INSTALLED AT FORD DEALER. 6 months letter it smells so bad like a chemical you cant drive truck? what is this smell and what type glue is used?

Ford uses their own urethane adhesive. We use SIKA and I’ve never noticed a smell in our urethane. What state are you in?

Between $1500-$700. Call your Insurance Agent & ask about your windshield coverage. Some full coverage policies don’t include the windshield coverage & may have to be paid out of pocket 👍🏽

The glass from old windshields is often turned into fiberglass insulation and glass bottles. The plastic layer in the middle of the windshield can be repurposed into carpet glue and other items.

Kia Telluride and Carnival appear to have a fault, the windshield are cracked for little or no impact.
