I'm not a comedy guy but let's give it go. The Seagal shit show the other evening was a comedy in disguise 🤣

Just watched this the other day. Maybe one of the funniest movies ever made. "I never saw Venice!" 😂

"Are you ok?" "I don't know. I'm kinda fucked up in general, so it's hard to gauge." Fun Fact: Roger Ebert said this was the worst movie of 2002. Art Imitates Life Fact: Michael Rispoli based his punchy boxer character on boxer turned actor "Slapsy" Maxie Rosenbloom. Ultimate Frisbee Fact: Features a shot of Catherine Keener whizzing a Frisbee at Edward Norton which is very similar to a shot in The War Of The Roses (1989) which was also directed by Danny DeVito. Casting Fact: Danny Devito and Vincent Schiavelli both made their screen debuts in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and appeared in Batman Returns (1991). Danny DeVito, Pam Ferris, and Tracey Walter are the actors in Matilda (1996). The Rest Of The Story Fact: Edward Norton kept the picture of a rhino on the wall in Sheldon's home and it hangs on his wall in real life. The spirulina and almond butter mixture Sheldon puts on his soy hot dog was actually concocted by Edward Norton in his hotel room. Comic Sans Fact: End credits, including on-screen top cast, use the Comic Sans font. Designed in 1995 by Microsoft for texts aimed at children, the font is since part of all Windows versions. Using the font made by one of USA's most capitalistic corporation and targeting children quite reflects the movie theme.

I've been trying to get reactors to do this movie for 4 years. You get a comment and a like just for doing it at all. I'm already subscribed. (Nobody gets the bell, nobody.)

Showdown love the reactions as always, I have a movie suggestion if you have time and that movie is called Mom and Dad. It came out in 2017 starring Nicholas cage and it’s a horror/comedy with a very different/weird take on horror movies that I think you would really enjoy.
@PopcornReactions23 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion! "Mom and Dad" sounds intriguing, especially with Nicholas Cage in the mix. I'll definitely check it out!

Have have seen over 2000 films in my long life. This is in top 25 of all time. Brutally dark. Incredibly sad. Still one of the funniest films ever. Colin Farrell has never been better. Yes even better than his amazing Penguin role. So great to see reactor laughing and understanding the ironic humor

I would have to say that the best steven seagal films are under siege 2 dark territory (1995) under siege (1992) and Out for Justice (1991)
@PopcornReactionsКүн бұрын
Those are some classic Seagal films! Each one has its own unique charm, but I can see why you’d favor those.

I watched this movie a lot as a child, back when I didn't get the jokes. When I tried watching it as an adult, I turned it off after about 15-20 minutes.
@PopcornReactionsКүн бұрын
Totally get that! Some movies just don’t vibe the same when you’re older.

@@PopcornReactions Yes, and on the other hand, I also watched Nothing But Trouble a lot at the same age (because I lived in a motel in New Orleans at the time, and it was on the movie channel there) and also didn't get some of the jokes in that back then, but when I watched it as an adult, one of those jokes caused me to laugh so hard I was crying, partly because I didn't expect it because it had gone so far over my head as a child.

I saw Dawn of the Dead at a sneak peek showing on the campus of the University of Michigan before it came out at the theaters. They gave out free tickets to it but there wasn't nearly enough seats for all the people that wanted to see it. There were hundreds of people in the hallway leading up to the theater with a single line of people with their tickets winding through the crowd. After the movie was over George Romero was there and took questions. I stood up and asked, "George, did you have any cameras in the hallway? You could film a great crowd scene for your next movie." He laughed at that question, I made George Romero laugh, it was awesome!
@PopcornReactions2 күн бұрын
Oh, you might have just given him the idea for a sequel: "Dawn of the Dead: The Hallway Edition!" Imagine the chaos! awesome!
@JollyJeff2 күн бұрын
@@PopcornReactions Sadly George passed away back in 2017 but for more Romero-like goodness, check out "Shaun of the Dead".
