Jim Morrison sighting around 5:15 in the video, the guy that appears in the white shirt to the right of Ray is Jim. Another sighting at 7:00. Well before any thought of The Doors existed. A couple years later without Dorthy supporting Ray and even Jim, there would have been no Doors. Without Ray there would have been no Doors. Such an amazing couple and soulmates.

I met Ray a couple years before he passed on. Such a cool guy. He treated me like I was an old friend he had not seen in a while. Posed for a couple pictures with me. I thanked he for all he had given us (the people / fans).

What Neal would have been capable of doing if he could have focused all his energy on a real purpose, no one knows. But his approach to life seems to have been a shallow, hedonistic one, wasting his energy on things superficial and ephemeral.

This is so beautiful and I feel like crying in the tears of joy when I look at this! I wish life were simple and straightforward like a Disney film and like this as I currently don’t have a job ever since I graduated from college and got my driver’s license back on May 2024 and I’m going through tough obstacles such as seeking employment, paying my debt, buying a car, buying a house, paying for master’s, and paying my student loans, I wish life can be that simple so therefore, I could have gotten a job and be working now, pay my debt, pay my student loans, buy my car, purchase a house, completing my masters, and perhaps get married and have children by now, too bad the world is not like this anymore, it is very tough, complex, harsh, unpredictable, messy, difficult, complicated, it’s just sad that it is no longer simple and straightforward anymore, whenever I look at this I get happy and cry in tears of joy because it is beautiful but at the same time I get sad because the world is not like this anymore and I wish the world could be beautiful like this again once and for all! People were nice, kind, sweet, fun and the world was so beautiful, simple, and straightforward, nowadays everything became dark! I sometimes cry wishing things to be like this!

That show was amongst the worse ever shown on TV. People really had low standards to watch poor and destitute women literally beg for some very basic goods. This show is so much more classy and a time capsule involving one of our greatest showmen.

3:59- Jack Arthur was frequently heard on the radio at the time. He later narrated many Peter Pan Records adaptations of famous children's stories in the late 1940's and early '50's. And was a TV announcer during the 1950's.

You bet it was! The network was determined to compete with CBS and NBC that fall, and created a daytime schedule leading into "WHO DO YOU TRUST?" and "AMERICAN BANDSTAND"- which initially looked like this: 11:00 DAY IN COURT 11:30 THE PETER LIND HAYES SHOW {with Mary Healy} 12:30 MOTHER'S DAY 1:00 THE LIBERACE SHOW 1:30 local programming 2:00 CHANCE FOR ROMANCE 2:30 local programming 3:00 BEAT THE CLOCK 3:30 WHO DO YOU TRUST? 4:00 AMERICAN BANDSTAND 5:30 THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB/WALT DISNEY'S ADVENTURE TIME {Tuesday/Thursday} (R)

And in early 1959, they added repeats of "THE BOB CUMMINGS SHOW" {"LOVE THAT BOB"} and "THE GALE STORM SHOW" as an inexpensive way to fill that schedule (through 1961).
